Sizing Instructions
We recommend ordering your belt based off your actual pant size (based on standard mens pant sizing measurements). The sizes shown are both the pant size range the belt will most often fit accurately and the actual length in inches that the belts are adjustable to accommodate. Keep in mind, most pants stretch, gun belts will not, which is why most people will wear a larger size belt than their pant size. You can also determine your correct size by trying on an existing belt with your normal everyday carry setup. Mark the spot where your belt is set and then measure the length from that hole to the end of the belt (excluding buckle). This will be the size belt you will need to order.

I love this belt…seriously, I love this belt. I have two, black and coyote brown, paired with my two new LightTuck (Sig P365 and M&P 9c) with mag holsters and the fit couldn’t be better. My belt size while carrying is 38 inches, which sits right at the Large/X-Large size break. When I ordered the X-Large, I thought that it wouldn’t be a big deal because I thought that I would only wear the belt while carrying. Plus, I have more than one pistol so I need the extra length when swapping pistols. Wow, I was both right and totally unexpectedly wrong. Allow me a brief explanation. I have two careers; I am a theatre technician (production manager, technical director, and design) and an archaeologist (early American shovel bum). This matters because in both jobs I carry a wide variety of tools and I am always swapping belts around to accommodate different tool pouches, gear, etc. For heavier tool pouches, I have a 3” belt that works great but I don’t need to have a full kit around my waist all the dang time. This means that I’m often clipping things like a wrench, trowel, small pouches for magnifying lenses, toothbrushes, a Rite in the Rain pouch, flashlights, gloves, edc knife, etc. to a Bison Belt. However, the Bison belt is floppy and I either wind up cinching up or having floppy tools. Neither cinch or flop works well and gets annoying over the course of a long day, especially when digging in the summer. Then along came the glorious Vedder Cobra belt. It holds everything exactly where it needs to be! It fits through all of my belt loops and holds everything securely and, super important, comfortably. After 25 years in the industry and I’ve finally found the perfect belt! Except, of course, now I need to buy two more belts in Large—black for backstage and coyote brown for the field—because the X-Large sits on my hips like a hula hoop when I don’t have either LightTuck on. So, I have found both a theatre and an archaeology “doin’ work” belt. Of course, now that I’ve found the perfect belt, both of my industries have shut down. I’m hoping that if I have an industry to come back to after the Coronavirus, I’ll be able to afford two more belts. In the meantime, I’m going to tell all of my theatre and digger colleagues to go buy a mess of Vedder belts. You guys rock! Once I can get two more belts, I will!

I love this belt! It is sturdy enough to carry anything you hang on it. I originally bought the tan one and liked it so much I ordered it today in black. May I suggest you make a light grey and a dark grey? I would purchase both. Thanks guys!

Step down buckle is awesome! Slips right through the belt loops in my pants. The belt it self is very rigid and sturdy. More so than a standard 5.11 belt. Shipping was pretty fast too from Florida to the Midwest. Excellent product!

I've been curious to try out the Vedder Cobra. It went on sale so I decided to give it a try. This belt is much better for concealed carry than a regular leather belt. It's rigid enough to support a AIWB concealment holster and micro compact all the way up to full size pistols. I followed the sizing instructions and got it right the first time.

For the price I really don't believe a better gun belt exists. It has a perfect low profile buckle and is surprisingly not as thick as I thought, but is stiffer than the leather gun belt it's replacing. Do yourself a solid and buy this belt. Also, if you're planning on using Vedder holsters, you should really buy their belts because it's obvious that they conceived the designs of the belts and holsters to match up beautifully together.

I absolutely love this belt! I'm a thin guy and western belt were difficult to find in my size and offered limited adjustment. When I started carrying, I took Dana Leosch's advice and gave Vedder a try. I purchased the combo pack with this belt in black. This belt is perfect. It is thick, stiff and durable. Aside from my holsters, i hang my impact drill from my belt all day long with no sag whatsoever. Size adjustment was tough at first, it became easier over time. I adjust the belt several times a day, either removing my holster when i can't carry or switching to paddle when I get home. To make adjustments more convenient, i run the velcro OVER the 9 o'clock belt loop As with their hilsters, this is the last belt you will ever need, tho I am considering getting another in coyote.
