Sizing Instructions
We recommend ordering your belt based off your actual pant size (based on standard mens pant sizing measurements).The sizes shown are both the pant size range the belt will most often fit accurately and the actual length in inches that the belts are adjustable to accommodate. Keep in mind, most pants stretch, gun belts will not, which is why most people will wear a larger size belt than their pant size. You can also determine your correct size by trying on an existing belt with your normal everyday carry setup. Mark the spot where your belt is set and then measure the length from that hole to the end of the belt (excluding buckle). This will be the size belt you will need to order.

“The Vedder Holsters cobra quick release belt has a big advantage over other similar belts with the cobra buckle: the Vedder Holster buckle is noticably smaller. It will go through the jean loops on all brands I've tried (everything from walmart jeans to nicer pants), but it is more difficult to put on than a conventional gun belt. The feed end of the cobra buckle fits but the release levers can get snagged on the belt loop. But the belt works well and is flexible enough to be comfortable, but rigid enough to carry a gun, extra mag, light, knife, wallet, phone, etc. all day. This likely won't work with closed loop holsters because of the buckle's release levers, but rapid on/off clips are perfect. This belt is an excellent product and I have been using daily it for two weeks now. I cannot speak for how it will last over a longer period of time, but it seems robust. I am happy with my purchase, and I will likely buy more belts from vedder in the future.”

“To begin with, the quality of this belt is rather amazing for the price. It has a sturdy, quick-release cobra buckle and a rigid nylon webbing for the strap. I can also thread it through my belt loops without having to remove the cobra buckle which is a common negative with many other cobra-buckle belts. I have to knock off a star because the sizing is a little on the confusing side. Personally, my jeans size is 31 and that gets paired up with a size 32 belt on the 3rd notch. Originally, I ordered a size M belt and that ended up being ridiculously small on me. According to the length, at 33" max, I assumed it would be longer than a size 32 belt (also, for typical American sizing, it falls into a medium-size categorization). Little did I know, the way the belt is measured is different from traditional belts, although perhaps not from other gun belts--this is my first gun-specific belt. Normal belts are typically measured length-wise from the end of the strap to the 3rd hole and would be a measurement of 32" on my personal size (sometimes 33" due to vanity sizing); in addition to the strap-length, there is also the buckle that can easily increase the effective circumference of the belt when worn 1.5-3". By contrast Vedder measures the belt by the effective belt length, for size M: 30-33" is the absolute circumference that will be supported. When ordering this belt, be sure to keep this size caveat in mind. It was not clear to me when I scanned over the sizing guide; they even say to exclude the buckle when measuring belt length and the resulting measurement is the size that should be ordered. To be clear, the belt sizing is the absolute measurement *including* the buckle. In all fairness, Vedder took care of me and exchanged my M for a size L no questions asked. I am happy with the result and hope this belt lasts for a long time!”

“This belt is top notch in the gun belt world! Set it once and click away! Very very sturdy, and well made! Although I have only used it a short while I can tell just by how it’s made that I just bought my last gunbelt for a very long time! “I love this belt! My husband also has borrowed my belt, let’s just say if you have a future sale I will be ordering another one. It works like I expected it to. I was using a leather belt that was just to floppy and I was worried that I was going to loose my sidearm on the floor! So I’m really happy with the cobra gun belt!
