Sizing Instructions
We recommend ordering your belt based off your actual pant size (based on standard mens pant sizing measurements). The sizes shown are both the pant size range the belt will most often fit accurately and the actual length in inches that the belts are adjustable to accommodate. Keep in mind, most pants stretch, gun belts will not, which is why most people will wear a larger size belt than their pant size. You can also determine your correct size by trying on an existing belt with your normal everyday carry setup. Mark the spot where your belt is set and then measure the length from that hole to the end of the belt (excluding buckle). This will be the size belt you will need to order.

The Vedder Cobra belt is well made, sturdy, and quick to buckle or release. It's sole negative point is that once you set the length, it is difficult to adjust it. this is a function of its using a quick-release buckle as opposed to threading the free end through the buckle and cannot easily be solved. If you always wear the same pants/shirt/gun combo and never adjust your belt length, then this is not a problem. If you like to adjust your belt according to what shirt you are wearing or what gun you are carrying, then it is inconvenient. I find that this belt is a good companion to the Vedder Light Tuck holster. With my previous, cheaper belt, the holster could swivel on the belt and change its angle. The Cobra belt is stiff enough that the clip on the Light Tuck holds firmly onto the belt and does not swivel. Some reviewers have mentioned that the holster is hard to thread through the belt loops of some jeans, and this is true. However, I have found that holding the two latches down while threading the belt makes it go through tight belt loops easier. Also, there is a reason why you have to click that you read the sizing instructions when you order the belt. It is easy to underestimate which size you need. In conclusion, this belt is well-made and sturdy for IWB or OWB carry. As long as you are consistent in your clothing/carry and don't need to adjust it often, it works well.

I originally bought a different brand belt, thick leather and steel core, for my EDC. I quickly learned that I was limited on where I could carry and what holster work with that belt. I bought a black Vetter belt and was pleasantly surprised how much better this belt was then my thick leather belt. I was able to carry comfortably with many more configurations. I I liked it so much that a week later I bought the same belt but in Brown. I definitely recommend this belt!

34" waist, bought the large. Fit, finish, stitching are all quality. Way better than my 5.11 for ease of use. One caveat, use all OWB or IWB to get the most out of the "thru-loop" buckle feature so you don't have to re-velcro the belt all of the time...or, buy two belts! My purpose for buying this belt over others was to be able to set the sizing once and just slip it on like other belts from then on. Going from IWB to OWB and back will require resizing each time.

Have been using this belt for a while and I feel I have gained an opinion. First the pluses, strong, ridgid, durable, well made, and supports any gun well. Minuses, first one; belt loops and the everyday frustrations of feeding the belt through said loops. Most days I wear Carhartt jeans and the belt barely fits through the seven loops, other brands of jeans or pants have not been as inconvenient as the Carhartt's. Second minus is the Velcro adjustment. Once adjusted it's pretty much set and it's tough to make finer adjustments. So if you wear different pants, or carry a different firearms, or had a big meal, the belt can be a little tight or loose.

Very comfortable. Word of caution when measuring. I followed the instruction and my measurement came to 33.5 inches. As you can see from the sizing chart, I fall in the middle of medium and large. I ordered medium and had to exchange for large. If you are borderline on your measurement, order size larger.
