“I purchased one of these to use with my Ruger LC9S (2nd EDC option) and I very rarely used it at first. However, I recently started carrying this as my primary EDC and am disappointed with how it’s performed. This does not secure my mag at all. There was very little retention to begin with, and now after a month or so of everyday use, it has zero retention. I’ve tried adjusting it and have had no luck. It almost seems that it’s made for a different gun, or that it needs another retention adjustment point. Maybe I got a bad one? ***VH COMMENT*** Thank you for taking the time to review your holster. “Vedder mag holders offer secure adjustable retention. Even though this is an IWB model, I clip it outside, same as an OWB model. Works great, conceals well for me. Vedder products are high quality and worth the cost!!”

“I ordered this at the same time as a LightTuck IWB holster. Love the holster, but not this spare mag holder. While it is well made, it's just too thick and beefy to wear comfortably inside my waistband -- even with a single-stack Glock 43X magazine. Also, you cannot adjust the ride height of the clip like you can with the holster (although you can adjust the cant). It's a one-size-fits-all holder that unfortunately, does not fit me so well. It will do in a pinch (it does that too, sometimes, when I'm sitting or bending over), but I'll keep looking for a better solution for concealing a spare magazine. *Vedder Holsters comment* Thank you for taking the time to review your MagTuck. “Magazine security is 2nd to none. Must be worn outside the belt or metal clip will dig into your hip. :-( *VH COMMENT* Thank you for taking the time to review your holster. “I have a Vedder Light Tuck holster that works very well. I ordered this thinking it would work just as well. I was wrong. The clips hold the shell securely to the body, perhaps too closely.I found that the magazine base plates dug into my sides. They would even cut through undergarments. I would suggest that a body guard be added to this product to make the wearing of it more user friendly. **Vedder Holsters Comment** Thank you for your feedback.
