The Vedder Holsters Pocket Locker® is great for concealed carry of small sized pocket pistols in the front pocket of your pants- great for those that do not wish to carry around the waistline. Fully adjustable retention allows you to set your preference of tight, loose, or somewhere-in-between retention. The Pocket Locker® features three possible ways to draw. First, when drawing your firearm from your pocket, the hook catches on the corner of your pants pocket and the firearm is drawn, free from the holster. Second, it is great for those that want a secure and custom holster for their carry bag or purse as the holster comes standard with eyelet hardware which can be used to attach paracord to the interior of your bag for snatch style un-holstering. Third, an optional thumb tab that allows you to un-holster your gun with a simple thumb press. Each holster is custom molded from Kydex® to your unique gun model ensuring a perfect fit. It also comes with a full sweat guard. Sweat guards cover both sides of the entire slide of your pistol reducing its contact with moisture from your body.

Current listed holsters are ideal for front pocket carry in most standard mens jeans. To test if the holster will work for you in pocket carry, we recommend trying to put your unloaded and safety checked gun in your pocket to get an idea if pocket carry is for you. If your gun fits comfortably in your pocket, then you will have a good idea if the holster will fit in your pocket as well.

“It is very well made, However… it pulls out of my pocket 9 out of 10 times. I had to heat and bend the thumb press some to get a good purchase on it. I ALWAYS have to use that to get the holster to release the pistol. The hook doesn’t actually hook the pocket very well. In a life or death situation, nope. Sorry. **VH COMMENT** Thank you for taking the time to review your holster. I am so sorry to hear that you are having some trouble with your holster. You ordered the holster with the thumb tab so, you should have received the holster with the thumb tab however, it is no longer bent over. We can however, do this upon request. The technique does take some getting use to and we have some video examples that we can send you, please feel free to reach out to our customer service department so that we can assist further.”

“This is exactly what I was looking for. I bought a G43x to picket carry and this holster makes that possible. The slim design adds little to the size of the gun and makes it all very comfortable. I may even consider getting another color for days when I'm feeling spicy.”

“Purchased the Pocket Locker Holster for the Hellcat OSP, received it a few days later. I am impressed with the quality. Love it. It fits like a glove, smooth holstering, and smooth draw. Fits perfectly for pocket carry, with no pistol print.”

“I like the Pocket Locker so much I’ve ordered 4 for different compact pistols (Ruger LCP; Glock 43; Sig 365XL, and a Kimber Micro 9), I recommend the thumb tab and the curve for easing release within your pocket and less printing, respectively. For all but the LCP, a good belt is needed to counter the weight of the firearm, and the Vedder Cobra buckle nylon belt is a good choice for casual clothes.”

“Love this holster. The curved shape helps it stay concealed in my pocket without printing. The way it covers the gun and trigger gives me confidence to have my Sig P365 in my pocket and the thumb release and curve of the holster allows me to unholster the gun smoothly and quickly. “I bought this for my .380 Sig P238 and man does it conceal well! I went with the curve but not the thumb tab, because I don’t really understand how the thumb tab would do much beyond create an added step to draw the weapon. Regardless, it works exceptionally well wearing jeans, but also does a great job in shorts. I have absolutely no issue carrying in the pocket of a thin pair of shorts. Highly recommend.”
