The Vedder Holsters Pocket Locker® is great for concealed carry of small sized pocket pistols in the front pocket of your pants- great for those that do not wish to carry around the waistline. Fully adjustable retention allows you to set your preference of tight, loose, or somewhere-in-between retention. The Pocket Locker® features three possible ways to draw. First, when drawing your firearm from your pocket, the hook catches on the corner of your pants pocket and the firearm is drawn, free from the holster. Second, it is great for those that want a secure and custom holster for their carry bag or purse as the holster comes standard with eyelet hardware which can be used to attach paracord to the interior of your bag for snatch style un-holstering. Third, an optional thumb tab that allows you to un-holster your gun with a simple thumb press. Each holster is custom molded from Kydex® to your unique gun model ensuring a perfect fit. It also comes with a full sweat guard. Sweat guards cover both sides of the entire slide of your pistol reducing its contact with moisture from your body.

Current listed holsters are ideal for front pocket carry in most standard mens jeans. To test if the holster will work for you in pocket carry, we recommend trying to put your unloaded and safety checked gun in your pocket to get an idea if pocket carry is for you. If your gun fits comfortably in your pocket, then you will have a good idea if the holster will fit in your pocket as well.

I was using my Remora sticky holster as a pocket holster, but wanted a thinner profile. Stumbled across the Vedder line, and bought a black Kydex one for Roger LC9 with no thumb break. Love it! Thin, stays in all of my pockets of all different kinds of jeans, dress pants, and shorts! Will be getting another soon for my XDS 45!

Got this for my XDS to use when it's not convenient to use my IWB holsters, meaning when I need a tucked in shirt. This fit my gun perfectly. I got the right hand curve and the thumb release tab option. Really like the thumb release as it helps insure you can pull the pistol out of the holster as you draw it by pushing on the thumb release, it just feels natural.

I use a pocket locker with my LCP and Glock 43. For the LCP, this is the perfect option. It doesn't flip around like other pocket holsters I have owned in the past. The thumb release is a must as it allows you to draw your weapon easier and keep a firm grip at the same time. The LCP "snaps" into place when you put it in the holster. So it won't come out. I was concerned that pocket carry of the glock 43 wouldn't be ideal. In my Lucky brand jeans, the holster fits my glock securely. I would say the tip of the grip does stick out because Lucky brand jeans do not have deep pockets. In my other jeans, the glock fits deeper. It definitely looks like something large is in my pocket, but nobody has ever said anything.

First, let me preface this review by saying that pocket carry has never really been my thing. I have done it, but found the neoprene holsters to be lacking. In addition, I never had full confidence that the holster would not come out with the gun, particularly with looser fitting pockets. I recently purchased a Ruger LCP 2, which comes with that type of holster, and the same issues occured. Plus neoprene could potentially fold and bond into the trigger guard. Unlikely, but stranger things have happened. So, before I heard of/purchased the Vedder Pocket Locker I tried another Kydex concept holster for pocket carry. Within days I got tired of it flipping off my trigger guard while in my pocket. Finally, that brings me to the best holster purchase I have made in a long long time. I purchased the model with the thumb break...GET THE THUMB BREAK! It is amazing! No matter how tight or loose the pocket, leverage your thumb on that tab and the gun slides out effortlessly. I have yet had to rely on the curved hook at the bottom to draw my firearm. I am not overly concerned with printing, particularly with a pocket pistol. That being said, even under my own scrupulous gaze, knowing what is in my pocket I would have to use my imagination to conjure up the conclusion that there is a pistol in my pocket. The craftsmanship is unbeatable, with the edges shined to a mirror finish and that audible click we love so much when holstering into kydex. If you are looking to pocket carry, your search is over! Also, for those that are cynical about people getting perks for reviews, I have no affiliation and have in no way been compensated for this review. I am a blue collar, single income, head of household that believes in my right to protect myself and my family, and am willing to pay for a quality product that makes this more convenient. Not only have I found just that, but now, so have you!

Fits my Glock 42 tightly. The "hook" catches my pocket nicely and the holster remains in my jean pocket when drawn. We will see how it holds up over time.

I have all three holsters from them -- LightTuck, RapidTuck, and the PocketLocker. I would rate both the LightTuck and the PocketLocket 5 stars, and the RapidTuck 4 stars. I would rate their customer service 10 stars if I could. This review is based on holsters made for the Glock G43. My first order was the RapidTuck. I made a typo in my zip code when placing the order and caused the post office to kept delaying my order day after day. I contacted Vedder (even though it wasn't their fault) about the circumstance and they immediately went above and beyond and ordered me another RapidTuck and shipped it right away. Well, when I got the RapidTuck eventually (I got two total, including the delayed one), tied it for a few days, and didn't really like the feel of it. - Leather was hard and didn't contour around as expected. I understand there's a break-in period with leather, but given haven't tried their LightTuck I didn't have anything to compare against. - The Kydex is only on on side, the other side is pure leather. Personally I didn't like that the entire gun wasn't protected by kydex. - It was a bit Bulky for me. I contacted Vedder and asked if I could try out the LightTuck. They immediately agreed all I had to do was send back the old one. Upon receiving the old one, they sent out he LightTuck. The LightTuck was much better. Great retention, great feel against the body, and very compact. I think most people should get the LightTuck, unless you are a leather fan then get the leather version. I liked it so much that when they had the memorial day sale I ordered the PocketLocket. A few days later it arrived. It fit perfectly inside my cargo pants and the holster stayed inside the pocket during draws. It also comes with a thumbtab so you can loosen the retention while still inside your pocket for a more guaranteed draw. I did mess around with the PocketLocker with a heatgun to customize the retention and to lessen the thumbtab intrusion. It is definitely not something you have to do, but I'm just OCD about many things when I first got it.

I have purchased several Vedder holsters for duty use and off duty. I have found them all to be exceptional quality and the shipping time far exceeds any other holster company. Thank you for making them quickly and with good quality. I also love the selection of colors and patterns since most other companies do not offer these. This pocket holster for my Glock 42 works perfect for my backup and fits nicely in my uniform pants pocket. I have purchased a few of these holsters for my brothers and fellow officers. The weapon locks into the holster with a nice solid snap and draws easy. Overall excellent and I will be purchasing more in the future.
