The Vedder Holsters Pocket Locker® is great for concealed carry of small sized pocket pistols in the front pocket of your pants- great for those that do not wish to carry around the waistline. Fully adjustable retention allows you to set your preference of tight, loose, or somewhere-in-between retention. The Pocket Locker® features three possible ways to draw. First, when drawing your firearm from your pocket, the hook catches on the corner of your pants pocket and the firearm is drawn, free from the holster. Second, it is great for those that want a secure and custom holster for their carry bag or purse as the holster comes standard with eyelet hardware which can be used to attach paracord to the interior of your bag for snatch style un-holstering. Third, an optional thumb tab that allows you to un-holster your gun with a simple thumb press. Each holster is custom molded from Kydex® to your unique gun model ensuring a perfect fit. It also comes with a full sweat guard. Sweat guards cover both sides of the entire slide of your pistol reducing its contact with moisture from your body.

Current listed holsters are ideal for front pocket carry in most standard mens jeans. To test if the holster will work for you in pocket carry, we recommend trying to put your unloaded and safety checked gun in your pocket to get an idea if pocket carry is for you. If your gun fits comfortably in your pocket, then you will have a good idea if the holster will fit in your pocket as well.
Each Pocket Locker® Holster is hand molded here in the USA!

I'm 6'1" and 150 lbs, carrying a G42 with TLR-6 right handed curve and thumb tab. It fits my gun perfectly and does a great job of protecting the trigger. I feel extremely confident in avoiding negligent discharges with this holster. The holster catches really well on all pants I own and rarely comes out with the gun after practice, when the gun is drawn sideways and not directly upwards. Holster also keeps lint out of barrel which the DeSantis does not do. This holster was too wide for my skinny legs with the right hand curve printing quite a bit on the outside of my thigh. So I held it over a hot stove and bent it some more with a pair of tongs (sorry guys!). It felt wrong doing this to such a finely crafted product, but now it works with every pair of pants and shorts I own except the tightest chinos. Looks like a cell phone/tablet/notepad in my pocket in fitted pants, and looks invisible in baggy/tactical pants. I also noticed some pants work very well on the draw and some pants make for a very clumsy slow draw. I recommend pants with vertically stitched ( / shaped) pocket openings (like dress pants commonly have) over pants with horizontal stitching ( U shaped) (like Levi's). The gun sights will get caught on the fabric less if you have vertical pockets. The gun will be about 1/2 in higher in your pocket than it would be unholstered, so it might peek out of pockets that you think should fit it.

I ordered this holster probably about 2 weeks ago and have been carrying it ever since. The form is perfect and it feels much more secure than my other pocket holster that came with my LCP II. One major problem that I have with it is that it prints while inside dress pants/slacks. It isn't horrible, but people with a good enough eye can definitely see that my pocket has an outline of a handgun. A recommendation I have is to maybe flatten the outside of the holster, or even use a thicker piece of kydex on the outside portion to really hide the outline of the gun. If something is done to correct this issue, I think this holster will be hands-down the best pocket holster to buy.

The Good: Way better than the cloth or leather pocket holsters I've used before. It holds my Sig P238 very securely. With the thumb tab its very easy to remove the pistol. Its also very quite. I find that the holster, even with the thumb tab, is completely comfortable in jeans. In dress slacks, its quite irritating. I think this is because the pockets are made out of a finer material that doesn't provide as much padding. Over the course of the week, it rubbed and irritated me by the end of the week. In jeans no problem at all. The hook catches on the edge of the pocket and provides enough resistance to unholster the pistol without issue. The thumb tab isn't reall necessary for me. If you only wear jeans, then I'd recommend ordering with the tab as it does provide another option. What to improve: The kydex is very smooth, but still prints quite clearly in dress slacks. It also slides around in the pocket. I wrapped a couple rubber bands around the kydex and it seems to reduce the print and improve in-pcket traction. **VH COMMENT** JD, Thank you for your feedback. I will certainly pass your comments along to our product development team for review as we are always taking customer feedback into consideration for future product releases and improvements. Thank you for your business and have a great day! Best regards, Brooke Vedder Holsters, LLC

The pocket locker works well in a deep pocket. Only some of my jeans have a deep enough pocket to carry there with a G43. The best pants are cargo style with a zippered cargo pocket. Those pockets are on the side of the lower thigh and you can carry quite comfortably. No matter where you carry it is not a fast draw holster, but you will have a pistol with you.

I purchased two pocket locker holsters; one for a Remington RM380 and the second for a Ruger LC9s. I have to tell you that my major concern for pocket carry was to insure no possible accidental discharge. These pocket holsters fit the bill. These two holsters offer a very good fit and keep the trigger secure but still give an easy firearm removal. The barrel end of the holster is completely enclosed preventing any debris from entering. There are no sharp edges. I would highly recommend these kydex holsters for pocket holster. I am now considering a third holster, the Rapid Tuck or Light Tuck for a Springfield xds.

I purchased a Pocket Locker for my Sig P238 with Crimson Trace to replace my Alabama Holster which has an open bottom that has a real problem collecting pocket lint on my Sig. It's retention is perfect as is its release when I draw, but oh that lint! When I received the Vedder, I was disappointed to find that it held my Sig too tightly. In fact, it takes a strong effort with both hands to get the holster to release the Sig outside my pocket. I contacted Vedder and they offered to have me mail it back and they would work to solve the too tight problem. At that point, I decided to just return it rather than pay for postage to get it adjusted. I could not be sure their first try would solve the problem adding further to how much the holster had cost. I also did not like the way it held the Sig at the top of the grip. It was just too much retention for my taste. The Pocket Locker looks will made, but I think it is too molded to the shape of the Pistol resulting in too much retention and potential for printing through the pocket. **VH COMMENT** Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that your holster had too much retention for you. We hope the the return process was seamless and am sorry that we could not meet your needs. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to have your business.
