“This holster is great. Smaller in size than you would think . The holster sits high on hip so a regular shirt will conceal and is very comfortable. Although there is no way to set retention., the retention is very good”

“I'd been looking for a holster to carry my Sig P365 on my running pack. I love to do long, mountain wilderness runs out here in the west and wanted a holster that would still be comfortable after 8 hours of running trails. The Vedder OWB Quick Draw Holster is perfect! The pistol is well secured on my waist belt, but quickly available. It rides very well and doesn't irritate my side as I run along. I bet this isn't a very frequent use of your holster, but it's what I've been looking for. Thank you Vedder!”

“i HAVE USED AN OWB VEDDER HOLSTER FOR ABOUT 6 YEARS NOW. THEY ARE LIGHTWEIGHT AND THE LEATHER CONFORMS TO YOUR BODY QUICKLY. I HAD THE KYDEX BREAK AND THEY SENT ME A NEW ONE AS IT HAS A LIFETIME WARRANTY. NO PROBLEMS WHEN YOU PURCHASE A VEDDER HOLSTER.”

“Had to send back for refund. No sweat guard. If you wear it when you sweat, it will rust your gun. It also stopped securing gun. Retention was completely gone. The leather left a rash looking thing on me. Not the holster to wear for EDC especially if you are working. I ordered wrong one for my needs though the lost of rentention, I can't explain. I going to try again with Vedder and order the first holster and see. ***VH RESPONSE*** Thank you for your review, Michael. The leather will break in as you wear your holster and the retention while holding it in your hand will be lessened because the hybrid holster retention is created by the pressure of your body and belt pressing your gun into the custom Kydex shell. “So I bought this after my usual brand didn't have a VP9 OTW holster with an optics cut. I've been wearing ITW holsters for nearly 15 years, and was looking for something more comfortable. I definitely found comfortable with this. I do have 2 criticisms. First, the kydex is about as tight as you can get before it won't fit. This is an extremely tight tolerance for fitting, and makes it a bit more difficult that I'm used to at the draw. It took me some time, but I can do it no problem now, it was just surprising. If anything, I know that if I'm ever turned upside down like a cartoon character I won't lose my gun. Second, The back of the leather has quite a few scratches. It almost wouldn't seem new if the front wasn't so clean and smooth. I've never had a leather holster that was so scratched up. I don't suppose it will affect anything, but it is a bit disheartening to receive a new product all scratched up. Overall I'm happy with the holster. It does what it is supposed to, and it's very comfortable. The bag it came in is also very nice, and I've turned it into a stick bag for my wood burning stove when I go camping. I would buy another, I just hope they work out the scratches. *******VH RESPONSE******* Thank you for taking the time to review, Jon!
