“Great pack to get you started. Fantastic assembly videos make it easy to put together. Having everything avaliable is great. The medium holds quiet a few plants not sure how useful a small would be and if you can afford it I would buy the bigger size as it is two of the small and where it joins you can squeeze more plants with shallower roots in. The lettuces and tomatoes and basil have done very well. I did an experiment and planted others in the normal bed with new soil and the growth difference with the pod has been amazing. The lettuces taste amazing with lots of lush growth. If you have been thinking about getting one they are worth the money if you love your salad greens.”
“The vege pod was fairly easy to put together, definitely easier than flat pack furniture. My seedlings are thriving despite a very wet spring on the West Coast. There is no way they would have done as well in my old garden beds. I probably should have bought the large, but I can get another medium next year if it keeps going as well as it is.”
“Twenty days since planting and everything is lush. I managed to set it up by myself, (kit set challenged 72 yr old). Already eating the lettuce. The beans are beginning to flower, it looks like we might get carrots , they are hard to grow up here. Happy camper!”
“Seems to be doing exactly as advertised. Plants are already thriving. It would be good to have a handle to make lifting the cover easier - it’s quite tricky sliding fingers underneath, getting a grip, and lifting . A self supporting attachment to keep the lid raised would also be an advantage .”
“I wasn't terribly optimistic that my vegepod would produce vegetables and herbs to the standard of all the social media photos. Turns out it has! We live in a very windy location by the beach. The cover has prevented most of the sand from getting in and damaging the plants like all our other pots suffer from.”
