“PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AS A ‘NEWBEE’ GARDENER, AND IT REFLECTS MY HONEST OPINION ABOUT THE PRODUCT.
Positive:
- quick delivery of product
- easy to erect and move before the soil is added
Negative:
- cannot move once the soil is added (legs started to buckle when trying)
- the legs (I feel) are just able to hold the weight
- the vegetables on my deck are growing more considerably than the ones in the Vegepod (planted at the same time)
- I was told to leave the pod lid up, but the cats are jumping in it”
“I'm disabled but found the vegepod easy to assemble. I assembled the stand first then built the pod on it. I put the cover on the wrong way round the first time so the sprinkler entry hole was at the wrong end.
Looking forward to growing stuff now”
“Have had a large vegepod previously & loved it!!
Recently moved & just set up a new pod.
Everything growing well & very happy to be able to grow my own vegetables again without any chemicals.”
“I have no experience with kitsets and spent about 8 hours in all over a couple of days setting up the two stands, the planting box and cover. I found the YT videos more useful than the packaged instructions. It is now filled and partially planted. It needs to be on a level surface and I found that my paved areas are not completely level and being so large, it was too fiddly trying to get it straight so have put it on a deck instead. It would be easier to level up the smaller vegepods on a paved area, or with the large one, put the legs on pavers on lawn or dirt. The cover is great - I have planted brassicas for the first time now I don't have to worry about white butterflies etc”
“Veges grew so quickly that we can't keep up with them. Ready to eat lettuce and silverbeet within 2 weeks of planting. Have grown peas, cauli and chives from seeds no problems. I am not a gardener and it seems to all be growing like crazy”
