“Like every component of the vege pod construction, they all need replacing in time. Most of my components have lasted 7 years. The UV eventually breaks them down.”

“The vege pod is about 5 years old and some of the hinge clips had broken. The new ones ordered fitted on easily and just in time for the windy weather when a loose lid might have gone flying away!”

“I found out just recently that they can also be used in front of vegepod to hold down the lid, i use three spaced out. I use to tire the lid down in the front to the frame. They work will. I had a couple broken when the lid lifted off in winds before I used them in the front too. I had forgotten to tire the lid down”
