“This rack has been amazing, so durable and love how secure it feels. Simple to hang bikes and take off. I’d say the only negative is his heavy it is to get on the hitch but I will take that over feeling like my bike rack is going to fall off the car or my bikes fall of”

“We like everything about this rack. Relatively stable & easy to mount bikes onto the rack. We got the hitch extension so that we can open our truck tailgate. Great feature. It does get heavy with 4 mountain bikes on the rack when it's time to push into the up position. But, if you've got 4 bikes, you should have somebody there to help you push up! We also have the built-in lock feature, but would prefer a more heavy-duty cable. This lock system is more of a deterrent. The whole rack is secure to the vehicle, however. If you are in an area of concern, we would use a krypto lock for each bike.”

Hi Mary, we are happy to hear you're enjoying your VelociRAX! We do not recommend using the integrated locking system for long periods away from the car, so a heavier-duty lock is a great suggestion for more security. Thank you for your feedback!

“Love our 4 bike Velocirax! We were new to mountain biking and so we looked around to see what other teammates went for in a car rack. Lots of our coaches had a Velocirax, so it made our choice pretty simple. No regrets. Simple installation and use. It has also doubled as one half of a hammock stand :)”

“Great rack,super heavt duty. Ease of bike loading is a game changer, especially with an ebike. I had a friend state that the rack rocks a bit while driving loaded, but I am assuming that the sway is a good thing...”

“Great mount, very stable and the bikes ride nicely back there. I really like the design and how the only thing that touches the mount is the tires. Would recommend to a friend for sure.”

“Awesome rack! Took it on a four state road trip this summer. Had 29ers to 24s on it. Rock solid and secure. Easy to take bikes on and off in the tilted back position. Not something you take on and off the vehicle daily. Once it is on it stays on for a while. Then when it is not needed we have it in the garage as a bike rack. Love it!”
