Loving the bike rack. Everyone who sees it or rides with me and uses loves it too. Added the lights and cable lock and very happy with both of those as well. This rack saves me tons of time and tons of headache when it comes to getting bikes on and off. I had two racks before this and sold both of them. This is my only bike rack, mine holds 5 bikes, best thing I ever did was change over to this rack. Thank you for making a great product and even bigger thank you for having world class customer service when I have had questions!!

I love this rack. It has worked very well for a mix of road and mountain bikes. I have figured out how to install it on my vehicle solo (it’s around 70lb deadweight) by laying it in a large piece of cardboard I can slide around so I can pop it on and off in minutes. Great rack. Very solid and safe!

I purchased this rack in September of 2023 after doing a ton of research about bike racks. We travel full time in our MotorHome and needed a rack that was easy to use, fit 5 bikes and didn't cause damage to the bikes while on the rack. The VelociRAX 5X fit the bill. After nearly a year and about 5k miles traveled with the bikes loaded on the back of our motorhome things are great. The boys can load and unload there bikes with out much assestance, we always have a place to store the bikes while not riding and it is easy to lock the bikes up. The only complant I have is the darn rubber straps they use, just look at the strap and your hands turn black. So far they are holding up and show no signs of wear. If the straps were made of some material that didn't turn your hands black I would have given this rack a 5 star review as it fits all of our needs.

I got this as a gift for my son and grandson who has social anxiety and suddenly had three friends in his neighborhood who wanted to go mountain biking with him. This is an area where my grandson excels, so he was very comfortable. The problem was, my son had the minivan, but not all the other kids parents were available or wanted to go. I got this and turned the situation where my son and grandson could take his friends to the local trail park into one that was so easy there was no reason not to do it. Every size bike, from my 6’,3” son’s to the youngest neighborhood, tagalong’s bike fit on easily and securely. My grandson said, “ this rack just makes other ask look – stupid.”

Using a rack on a van, you can't afford any flex and that is exactly what the VelociRAX delivers. We tried a platform style from a different high-end competitor and although we were very impressed with the quality it simply flexed too much causing handlebars to hit the vehicle. Ironically, I originally went with the platform for ease of loading but found the VelociRAX is actually much easier to load, specifically because we went with the 5X. The spacing between bikes means the the order the bikes are loaded/ unloaded doesn't really matter, so when you need to get down one or two bikes you can get down any you want in any order. We typically carry 4 bikes, putting them in the outside, but for times there is an odd number, the 5X allows us to balance the load which reduces any little sway (plus it has the largest spacing between bikes). The locking hitch anti-rattle works great as well. Only complaint I have is the pivot for tilting the rack down is too high, so we can't open the rear doors on our van no matter what position the rack is in... this is a bummer, but we went with that trade off because bikes don't hit the van window. We did online comparisons between VelociRAX and others of the same style and couldn't justify paying more for no major advantages. VelociRAX is a great value, great quality, and a great rack!

The rack worked really well, but surprised that decreased my gas mileage from 24-26 to 19-22. This was in a VW Atlas. Also, the weight of the rack surprised me, it weighed more than I expected and thus was more of an effort to attach it to the car. Finally, I got the wider 5 set, but feel that I probably could have gotten the narrow 5 set up which probably weighs less and would not have as much affect on gas mileage. Overall, I do love the rack, it really keeps the bikes secure and is easy off an on for the bikes
