“Works great for a family of 5. Super quick to load/unload bikes. Lowers just the right amount to open the truck bed for access. Great responsiveness through chat and customer service. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the straps leave your hands black every time you load/unload after only a month of use - I worry they are not only a messy but deteriorating part that will need to be replaced every season.”

“This rack is a serious beast! I have hauled all manor or bikes (E-Bike, Mountain, Road) and even taken it off the beaten path. The hydraulics make loading/unloading a breeze and I still have access to everything in the back of my vehicle. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Excellent rack! I chose the 5X over the 6 or the 7 because of the spacing between the bikes when loaded. I have used the rack with both drop bar (road) and flat bar bikes and they all fit very well. The rack is solid and easy to load and I believe it is the best way to transport bikes whenever there is a need to carry more than two or three. One of the best features is the lack of any contact between the rack and the fork or frame of the bike which prevents paint or frame damage. It's pricey, but this rack is one of the best.”

“Got here when we expected, and easy enough to assemble! We mainly mtb and could’ve gotten away with a 5, but as my boys get older, I wanted the flexibility of the 5x. We took a big road trip across the country to hit a bunch of national parks. Every time we would see another velocirax on the road, we’d always say something to the effect of, “they made the right choice” or “ah, another well informed buyer”. I would absolutely recommend this rack and actively DO! A friend bought another brand of vertical rack (the bikes mount differently), and I could tell he wished he had gotten a velocirax, after trying mine out. Hands down best bike rack, and WELL worth the money. If you enjoy putting your bike on the car, you’re more likely to get out!”

“Love the rack but wish it was easier to lay flat on the ground , also think there could be some protection when layed down on the gravel so it doesn’t chip the paint like a plastic wrap or hard plastic clip on the part that hits the ground. Also wish my tailgate could drop all the way! Not wanting to get the extension cause I don’t want it any longer ! Just some suggestions overalll i love the rack.”
