“Rack is incredible except for the fact that my 2018 Tundra tailgate won’t fully open. It contacts the rack. I have since found out if I want my tailgate to open fully without hitting the rack I need to spend more money to get a hitch extender. Pretty disappointing really after the large initial purchase amount”

Hi there, we appreciate the feedback. We hope you have been able to get out on some cool rides! Our anti-rattle system works best where it is currently positioned, so a hitch adapter (also with an anti-rattle) is needed to extend the rack away from the vehicle. “Love the rack , wish it wasn’t so heavy . Make sure you use the rubber bands on the front brake so the bikes don’t bounce around !! I’ve had a few bands break on me after only a couple uses , Velcro is a great alternative / in conjunction with .”

“Why buy anything else? That’s the real question. Took it on a 4000 mile trip out west almost fully loaded with MTB and even a BMX and worked great. I pretty much never take it off. Even if I’m not carrying bikes it doesn’t get in the way and it doesn’t rattle at all if tightened properly. This is the only rack I’ll ever need.”
