“This is the best, beefiest, bike rack I've had and I've been through a few over the years. We drive large distance (Houston TX to Vancouver Island BC) with our bikes (MTB and road) annually. This rack makes life easy on the road with the hydraulic system enabling easy back of the truck access with our unloading the bikes. The same system also make bike loading and unloading really easy and fast. Super happy with it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new rack.”

“It work great once on the vehicle. I do wish they offered an aluminum version. I can’t get it on and off the vehicle easily because of the hitch height and weight. Turns out, the current generation Suburban’s hitch height is an inch taller that the current 3/4 ton GMC truck. I’m 65, 5’7” tall with a bad back so it can be a pain (literally). I’m going to build a stand similar to the one offered by VelociRAX, but with a built-in lift. That will make it much easier. As far as the Functionality of the rack, it is far easier to load that any rack I’ve ever owned. I am very happy with it.”

“This is a fantastic rack! Well made and durable! My only knock against the rack is that at the price point for a rack like this the integrated lock system should be included. When I bought another known brand locking cable was included in the purchase. But as far as the overall build and satisfaction, I give it high praise!”

“Love this rack. It doesn’t rattle and every pivot is solid. Handles my daughter’s 24” wheels to my 29x2.6. I would say I would buy it again, but it looks like this may be the last one I need to buy.”

“First ever vertical rack and it is a lot different than a traditional hitch rack. The product from VelociRAX is quality and works as described. Install was ok, not as intuitive as I thought it should be, but I got through it. Rack is heavy and awkward when loading it on the vehicle, but that is really just because it’s a vertical rack. The shock that lowers the rack is nice and it would be impossible to load bikes without the lowering function. With no bikes on it you really have to pull it down, but loaded it works fine. The biggest transition the vertical rack is that it is easier to lose things from your bike in transit. I lost two water bottles and my 1UP EDC Pump. I know take these things off, but it is one more thing to remember before you take off and then before you start riding. Overall I am happy with the rack, but it is a bit awkward. I have 6 total bikes to haul and this rack is the best option for my use case.”
