“This is an extremely well-built bike rack. If I could I would give it a 4.5 stars, but that wasn't an option. The reason I can't give a 5-star review is after we returned from our first RV trip using the rack the rubber bands that go over the handle and brake failed. The trip was 12 days long. For the price of the system, I think that is disappointing. Otherwise very happy. I would recommend it.”

“Overall I love this bike rack and would recommend it to others. Things I love: -Using the rack to store bikes in the garage when not in use on the car -Sturdy, secure -I purchased the integrated lock and it works well and is very convenient -Tilts so I can open my tailgate -Rear visibility is good with this installed, even when carrying bikes, and you can drive around easily between rides with this installed. -Overall does the job well -People ask me about the rack all the time in parking lots and at trailheads, it looks great and turns heads in a good way Things to be aware of: -It is very heavy, and will probably take two people when putting it on the car or taking it off. I usually do it with one person, but it's heavy enough that it is much easier with two. -The rack tilts so you can access the tailgate, and put bikes on more easily, but when fully loaded with 5-6 bikes it is very difficult to push back up to the upright position -If putting adult size bikes next to kid bikes, sometimes they don't line up well with pedals, etc in the wrong places and it's a challenge (but still possible) to get 6 bikes to fit I've been incredibly happy with this rack and purchase, and would buy it again.”

“Adaptable to our F-150 with topper & Toyota Highlander. Purchased the rack extender to allow opening of tailgate on truck & hatch on SUV which was a good call. Easy loading/unloading, secure ride, awesome being able to carry 6 bikes and only have the extension of 1 bike off the back of the vehicle. Excited to use the rack this winter, we did also get the fat tire holders. Took some interesting logistics getting to Alaska & LOTS of people here would buy them (cuz they ask me about it) if VolicRax figured out a way to sell them here;)”

“We love this rack for our family of 8. It's much easier and faster to load up 6 bikes on this thing than on our other rack we used to have. It folds down nicely while still loaded with bikes so we can get into the back of our Yukon. I also love that it can be used for storage in the garage which helps clear up a little space as well. The only downside to it is that it's heavy, so for us (we're small people) it takes 2 people to put it on and take it off, and even 2 people to push it back to the upright position when it's fully loaded.”

“Both our boys race mtb's in CO - check the car parks at the races and VelociRAX are now days on the back of many/most vehicles for good reason - excellent, well-engineered product - bikes are secure and I would say it's the lack of 'bounce' that sets the system apart”

“Great quality build. Hold 6 bikes with minimal swaying. It is a little hard to push back up once 4 or more bike are loaded; however not impossible. By far the best rack we have used or owned to date.”
