“We haven't had the opportunity to use it for a family ride yet, but we love how it looks and how easy it is to use even if our only use so far has been to fix the bikes. Also, I had a small confusion with reinstalling it the first time and called the company - they were so helpful and reassuring. I thought I broke something and they walked me through it showing me that I hadn't done any damage and also told me had I broken something they would have replaced it for me. I am super impressed with both the product and the customer service. Plus it makes our expedition look awesome. ha ha”

“My wife and I have 6 kids. The ONLY thing that would make this rack better is if it could hold 8 bikes. It's simply amazing... it is several orders of magnitude better than any conventional bike rack. I spent weeks researching "vertical" hitch-mounted bike racks. There was one other brand I was considering, but it came down to price (which favored this one) and the handy shock assisted lowering (so the bikes don't come crashing down on you when lowing it to get into the back of your car.). There were no local dealers, so I only had online reviews and pictures to go by. I am SO glad I went with this. It looks pretty awesome on the back of our Nissan NV 3500 passenger van as well. (It looks kinda silly on the back of our Subaru Outback, but we've done that too!). And the garage mounting kit ... BONUS!... makes storage easy. Couldn't be happier. Everyone asks where I got it. I think I deserve a commission ... (or at least a few stickers.)...”

“I previously had another vertical style 6 bike mount hitch rack. The VelociRAX 7 Bike Rack is WAAAYYYY better. I love the fact that it can pivot down in a controlled fashion because of the gas shocks. It works amazingly when the rack if fully loaded with 7 bikes. This feature alone makes this rack work every penny. I can put the rack on my wife's SUV and then she can take the kids bike riding without me. It's so easy to load and unload bikes when the rack is tilted back in the unload position. And, becuase of the dimensions of the rack and the pivot function, we can open the tailgate and use the rear storage space of our Expedition with this rack attached to the car and fully loaded with bikes. It's really awesome! The anti-rattle device that's built into the rack is top top notch as well. Don't be afraid of the price. It is expensive but I'll never buy another rack.”

“I needed a bike rack for my kids to mount their mountain bikes on the back of our travel trailer. The VelociRAX 7 is extremely strong and tough. The assembly instructions are very easy to follow. I like how it can tip back so my kids can easily load and unload their bikes. It is installed into a 500lb. Class 3 hitch tow receiver that is attached to the frame of our travel trailer.”
