White Liquid Chalk Markers (Bold) Bold Tip, 4 Pack Reviews

4.5 Rating 127 Reviews
I ordered these in hopes of using them in my classroom, and I'm not disappointed! They are like paint markers but erasable! I can use them to write on pretty much anything in the room. I was wondering if I would have trouble erasing them, and I can honestly say they erase easier than some dry erase markers. They don't require anything other than a napkin or tissue. I don't advise erasing with your fingers though because they will leave chalk residue on your fingers. They are a lot of fun using, and my students fight over who gets to use them. I can't use the white ones on my dry erase board just because of the white background, but I can use them on any hard surface that contrasts with the white, such as some of my student desks.

In spite of being initially frustrated by the process of getting them to write (Some of them require a lot of pumping, and one didn't write smoothly at first.) ultimately I got them all working perfectly, and I am very impressed with the quality of the line. I used them with VersaChalk's labels, with the household chalkboard (Not shown) and with a small pumpkin-shaped chalkboard. In each case they performed perfectly, leaving a smooth, solid line that is easy to read. The liquid chalk washes off easily with a damp paper towel or sponge, so fixing mistakes, or changing your mind is a snap. I'm so impressed with these I want to try the colors now! Well-priced, in my opinion. They'll last.

It does take a while to get a new marker started. I had to pump about 50 times before it started to write right. It's also useful to note that the tip reverses from angled to round head. Flipping the head around also helped to saturate the tip which was pretty dry from storage. Once primed an easy 5 out of 5 stars for a modest yet very useful product.

I teach an art class and wanted to use these neater less dusty chalk writers instead of real chalk. I shook, then started pumping to get the white liquid chalk to the tip, then pumped some more, then shook and then pumped the tip on the flat surface some more; finally the liquid came to the tip and I was able to write. These are convenient and way less messy than regular chalk.

Everyone recognizes the advantage of the new "dustless" chalk markers, but I've been thinking of them solely for use with chalkboard contact paper. Turns out they're MUCH more versatile than I realized. They can be used to write on glass, metal, cardboard, and most plastics. And you can change your mind any time and wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth and start over. If you're new to liquid chalk markers, take time to read the directions. Otherwise, you'll have heart failure when you think you've gotten a box of markers that don't mark. You must shake them, then press the marker tip to a firm surface until the liquid appears. Then you're in business. This brand's markers have a reversible tip. They arrive with the slanted tip showing, but give it a tug and it will come out and you can reverse it and use the rounded tip. The rounded tip gives a conventional print and the slanted tip is good for fancy calligraphy. Again, spend some time practicing with them to get the best effect.I am EASILY the least artistic, least crafty person alive and even I can achieve some pretty good efforts with these. Think what you could do!

I have tried many different brands of Liquid Chalk Markers and these Versa Chalk Markers are by far the best and easiest to use. Like all the others I have tried you have to get each one started with the liquid chalk. You shake the marker, uncap and press up and down with the tip to release the liquid to the tip. These took less than 30 seconds each to get the liquid to the tip. The tip is interchangeable so I set two of the markers to the bullet (rounded) tip and the other two markers with the chisel tip. These write the clearest and nicest of all the other brands I've tried, they don't leave double lines when it should be one. Overall I'm very impressed with the quality, how easy they are to use and how clear the markings are.

These are some of the best chalk markers I have ever used and the timing of these markers was just perfect!! I recently had the opportunity to test a glass magnetic memo board and these markers work AMAZING on it.. Please keep in mind though, I have used chalk markers for a while!! I have been using them in my summer store along with special labels designed for these markers I tested these markers on the following items and it worked great! 1.) Real Chalk Board.. (No more messy powder from real chalk! These are much cleaner) 2.) Car Window (Will work on pretty much any glass) 3.) My glass magnetic memo board (Worked much better than the marker that came with it) 4.) The body of the car (They write on plastic, glass, metal) 5.) Shop Windows 6.) VersaChalk Labels

The VersaChalk Marker is as depicted in the photos and described in the sales promo. It is non-toxic and dust-free; safe for use by children. It may be used on all porous surfaces - glass, plastic, metal, slate boards etc. and can be easily erased by simply wiping it off with a wet paper towel. The VersaChalk marker has a reversible tip for variable writing; thin or broad. It is available is various bright colors. The uses of the VersaChalk marker is limited only by one’s imagination - labels, calendars, to-do lists, children’s artwork etc.
