“Ahh, Chalkboard paint. It’s not only fun for kids, as it can turn almost anything into a suitable surface for their most artistic chalk creations, it can also be a godsend when it comes to labeling. Not long ago I came across a pantry makeover in a magazine where the homeowner used chalkboard labels to label the glass jars and baskets in her pantry. Now you can always make your own labels, but for those of who aren’t that talented or just don’t have the time – these Chalkboard Labels are one of the best options I’ve found!
For those curious on how to make their own chalkboard labels. Simply purchase some chalkboard paint and paint over the surface you want to turn into a chalkboard. Of course let it dry before using it! Yes, it’s that easy! Any how, back to the labels I got!
The labels are high quality and stick well to smooth surfaces. these come with 42 labels in 7 different shapes with an elegant easy-to-write white chalk marker pen. Unlike other similar products, this chalk marker that comes with it actually WORKS when writing on the labels and shows up well. Others tend not to work very good so I was really impressed. The ink stuck to it after it dried for a bit and was still able to be read. I don't think I have any complaints on these!”
“Perfect size for the 8oz mason jars with which I made my summer jams. These stick well and look great with my chalk pen in cursive, the perfect gift for the holidays for my friends and family. I recommend this item highly. Like that there are different shaped labels, average approximately 5-6cm across.”
“These labels look really good on canisters. You just peel them off and they stick on, but they can be removed and reused! They are vinyl and have a really durable adhesive on the back of them, but it doesn't leave residue on anything, and it's easy to take them on and off as needed. There are 42 labels in the pack, and they are black, with a thin white border, so any color of chalk markers or chalk looks good on them. I've used mine with chalk markers.
They stick really well - you can wash them, or wipe them off and they will stay on. However, if you want them off, just pry one small corner up with your nail and pull them off.”
“They are perfect for the job! I keep jars of seeds in my kitchen and in the past I have written on the lids with a sharpie. Now, I have these beautiful labels on the front of the jars and you can very easily see: chia seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, buckwheat groats & golden flax seeds, etc... for those particular jars, I leave the labels on, but for refrigerator items like leftovers in containers... they get labels now too, no more opening containers to figure out what is in them, once the food is eaten, I wipe the label off and use it for the next container...BRILLIANT... I love these labels. Life is better when you're organized! No joke!”
“These chalkboard labels from VersaChalk are a quick and easy way to label and organize various jars and containers around the kitchen. Included in the pack are 42 labels, in 7 different designs. I found that they were very easy to write on with liquid chalk markers and you can even re-position them within the first 10-20 minutes. After that, they are pretty permanent and even stayed on after a run through the dishwasher.”
“These are so neat...just like little chalk boards. They are much bigger than I thought they would be and a lot easier to write on. There is a lot of them in the package too. I love the fact that they don't stick like regular stickers and peel off extremely easily. My liquid chalk markers work amazing on them and I'm positive regular chalk would work just as well.”
