This is very convenient for places where you want a blackboard but can't hang a real one. I hung this up on the outside of my door. (I live in a college dorm and use this as a message board). Everyone loves it! Within the first few hours we already had many messages on our board.
It was very easy to apply. The grid on the back made it easy to cut a straight line. I started by applying at the top and then moved my way down and it ended up with very few bubbles and looks great!
The included marker also works great once the ink starts to flow!
Overall this is an awesome product that allows for a chalkboard in places that otherwise normally would not be a good spot! I highly recommend”
“This chalkboard works beautifully. Here are the pros and cons:
1. Very easy to peel and apply to the wall.
2. Works quite well. Really easy to clean off the writing and rewrite.
3. Sticks to the wall very well. I tried another kind of contact paper that peeled off the wall after a while. This one doesn't do that. It sticks quite nicely.
4. A good size. It is on the narrow side, but you can put two pieces side by side for wider spaces and the roll has enough to allow you to do that.

“I love chalkboard labels and have used the Contact brand of this previously. This one is thicker and works great in my Silhouette craft cutter to make my own shapes and labels. I use a white paint pen to permanently draw a frame or heading on the shapes and then the chalk marker to write whatever else. I like this chalkboard paper a lot better than chalk paint which requires multiple coats and leaves a grainy texture. This paper is nice and smooth and easy to clean. It's not something you can pick up and move around over and over but to label jars it's great. I also stuck a large piece on the inside of the door for notes to remember as we leave the house.”
“VersaChalk has created something special with their chalkboard Contact Paper. It applies easily to a smooth surface and it is ready to use either using their chalk markers or even just regular chalk. They are easy to wipe off using either a chalkboard eraser or a wet paper towel.
The other great thing about the chalkboard contact paper is that it can be cut to the size you need it for. I have a piece attached to our refrigerator now, and it is great for making notes.
Overall, love the product and think it will be great for the home, office or even school to use and enjoy with less mess.”

“I use contact paper for so many things. This is a bigger size roll. I have made chalk boards labels, used it as a stencil, decorated wooden signs, and I even cut a big piece and put on my daughters wall for her to be able to play with.
