Royal Canin - Canine Renal 410g Reviews

4.8 Rating 17 Reviews
My oldest dog, Steff, was recommended to eat renal diet food, after comprehensive tests and diagnosis of health issues, prior to which she followed a strict diet to minimize recurrence of stones/crystals. Common problems for aged small dogs including Pomaranians. Her appetite has greatly improved, she enjoys the food, and this is the first time she tried the canned version, prior to this only pouches of renal food were given for the 'wet', or topping, part of the meal served on dry biscuits. There are other options available in Hong Kong. The Royal Canin version of the food, although not exactly cheap, meets the needs of older dogs with heart and kidney problems. Low in salt etc. My 'Pom', adopted at an estimated age of 7, and a retired breeder, is now about 18 years of age. She is a beautiful dog, she looks about half her age, she is playful and active, I think the Royal Canin special diet food has helped to maintain her physical condition and possibly lessen the health risks associated with old age.
