As my dog's kidney disease progressed, this is one of the few things she would still lap up.

I like renal pouch than renal wet can food for the following reasons : 1) renal pouch contains more water than can food. 2) my dog likes it 3) my dog takes both renal wet & dry food together, thus for can food, my dog usually takes 4 days to finish one can. I need to keep the remaining food in the refrigerator, less fresh. For pouch food, one pack can be finished within a day. it is fresher in my view. Cons - renal pouch is more expensive than can food.

A bit expensive than before. Last time when I bought the pouch at the same price, each pack was 150g but now only 100g.

I feed my beloved furry friend the renal pouch on alternate days to add a bit of mix to her diet. She loves it!

My dog has kidney issues, and this product is recommended for the reduction of 'BUN' level which in her case is rather high. Not the tastiest of wet foods but with patience, it can be helpful in solving the problem of toxicity. This is an alternative to the canned version of the Royal Canin food which I also use.
