“Our recent 6 month old kitten was too smart to take the pills in the food, and would bite fingers and spit out tablets, despite every attempt to calm him. When we tried to make fresh pill pockets, he ate the meat and left the pill (smart cat!). These pill pockets he ate (pill and all) without any problems, from the bowl. It has saved us a lot of personal injury :)”
“This is my 2nd purchase, but unfortunately it only work for the first time, not really a good invention. ted discovered it was actually a pill pocket with pills inside and throw it out because he chew it like other snack. When I bought this the first time, the nurse told me they won’t able to chew it because of the texture but then is not. In conclude, Doesn’t really work now but better than to take the pills directly.”
“The pill pocket is very small and cannot cover the whole capsule that I used. One of the cats did not take it. The other one ate only the pill pocket and left the capsule behind :-(
But I do believe it will help with smaller tablet/capsule.
And better if it has option of chicken flavor :)”
“Been recommended by our vet to give this pill pocket for our 13 year old boy cat. He's very difficult taking any medicines, especially tablet ones.
Works great but sometimes he still chews on it!. Good for bitter tablets!.”
