This Vitamin C face serum is super-lightweight, non-irritating and easily absorbed, is 100% stable, meaning it doesn't breakdown over time like other Vitamin C creams and serums.
Just above the deepest layer of our skin lies a rich oil barrier. Traditional L-Ascorbic Acid vitamin C serums are water-soluble and therefore unable to penetrate this layer. Garden of Wisdom's C-Deep Vitamin C Serum contains Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, a form of Vitamin C that has been modified to be soluble in oil or lipids and enters the skin faster and deeper than any other form of Vitamin C.
With its unique formulation, C-Deep serum effectively and efficiently boosts and stimulates the skin's collagen production - an essential protein that gives the skin its youthful firmness and elasticity. In addition, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate stimulates the skin's Hyaluronic Acid production, helping to hydrate and plump skin cells and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I cannot seem to get the product out? It will not pump. Why is this?Sometimes the pumps can get an air bubble or blockage, and if you bang the container really hard on a hard surface a few times this normally clears it.
What is the difference between Vitamin C 23% & C-Deep?You cannot directly compare the two vitamin C serums as one contains the acidic form of vitamin C, L-ascorbic acid and the other contains a derivative of vitamin C called Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate. Vitamin C 23% Serum works to quickly brighten and freshen skin appearance whilst also working to enhance collagen synthesis. C-Deep contains the non-acidic vitamin C which works gradually to lighten and freshen skin's appearance but it does penetrate deeper and so it works quicker to enhance collagen synthesis - it is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. C-Deep is based in squalane oil. Vitamin C 23% is more of a serum and is not oil based.
