Gengigel Gel is designed and formulated to help you counteract and prevent gum disorders at an early stage including bleeding gums, loose gum tissue and inflamed gums.
Gengigel contains hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the connective tissues of the body. When applied to the gums it stimulates the production of new healthy tissue. In trials at the University of Rostock in Germany, scientists found that it can boost tissue healing by up to a half, increase blood supply and reduce inflammation. Hyaluron, the active agent in Gengigel, has been used for years by doctors to boost regrowth of connective tissue throughout the body. Applying hyaluron as a gel or mouth rinse strengthens cells walls and gets cells to stick together. The tissue grows back faster whilst being able to resist re-infection.
When Gengigel is used in accordance with instructions, it provides protection against inflammation of the gums (gingivitis), inflammation of the mucous membrane in the oral cavity (stomatitis) and inflammation of the tissues that support teeth (periodontitis). It improves the results of periodontic treatments and cares for the gums and enhances the natural healing of sensitive gums and oral mucous membranes that are susceptible to inflammation and injury, for instance after tooth extractions or mouth ulcers.

Gengigel can be used to assist with the treatment of the following conditions:

Directions: Apply a small quantity of gengigel onto the affected tissue 3–4 times daily, massaging gently with a clean finger to help correct distribution over the inflamed area. The Role of Hyaluronic Acid in Preventing Gum DiseaseWhile untreated plaque can lead to gum disease and in time tooth loss (periodontal disease), it is actually our response (sometimes referred to as the “host”) to dental plaque that is actually the decisive factor. Hyaluronic acid is clinically proven to significantly improve the host response to trauma and infection by:

Can I use Gengigel alongside products containing Chlorhexidine such as Corsodyl?No, chlorhexidine is a very powerful broad spectrum anti-septic which will prevent hyaluronic acid from working.
What else should I know?Store at a temperature between 5ºC and 40ºC.
