For young children, it would be recommended that you half the suggested serving of 10g and slowly introduce the protein powder into the diet.
As an athlete, can I overdose on the protein powders?Standard doses do exist according to activity level and body composition. So it is recommended that protein consumption not exceed 3 g/kg of lean body mass per day. However, recent evidence has seen an effect of 4.4 g/kg per day, with no negative effects shown. It is advised that this protein comes from a wide range of food sources, including protein products.
Are Pulsin protein powders tested for doping?None of the Pulsin products have been tested by HFL in line with anti-doping regulations but they do not believe that any of their products would cause any issues relating to doping.
