“Bizarrely, I hadn't primarily bought this item to curl my eyelashes, so cannot comment on that. Instead, I'd read somewhere it's possible to use an eyelash curler to slightly shorten an over-long fringe temporarily. However, even though supposed to be mini (the clue is in the name, after all), it seems too small to be effective and appears cheap and flimsy. There were no proper instructions and I had to look at other sellers online for details of how it operated, to see if it was worth keeping (certainly it's too small to use for my fringe). Thus, I've seen it online for £4 and, to be honest, even £4 seems expensive for what it is. I hadn't used it but had opened the little plastic box. I wasn't sure if this counted as a cosmetic product, but e-mailed VH twice (in 10 days) to ask if I could return it, but got no response - not what I expected. Fair enough, perhaps it's not eligible for return, but a reply would have been nice. Since I don't curl my lashes, I will keep it unused to perhaps give to a friend who does, or a charity shop if they'll take it, but frankly it looks useless. What a waste of money!”
