“These hair capsules were good in helping strengthen and thicken my hair. However, the taste was not so great. Overall, the effects were somewhat noticeable and I would definitely recommend it for those with thinner hair.”

“I found these Advanced Repair Hairology Capsules very easy to include in my daily schedule. Taking one every morning with breakfast. They were easy to consume and I didn’t have any adverse effects. Previously I had a lot of hair fall overall, also, thinning areas of hair in the front sections of my hairline. I am 64 years old, but still like to take care of my mid length straight hair. My hair is now natural grey, but I use a tinted shampoo to tone it light blonde. I was contacted by The review works, in late October, submitted photographic evidence of my thinning hair, then started the trial in November. It was for a duration of 3 months. I submitted photos at the beginning, during and after using the capsules for 3 months, recording progress during this time. After a few weeks, I noted a significant reduction in hair fall, after about 5 weeks I noticed new hair around my hairline, fine new hair. Throughout the remainder of the trial my hair became easier to comb through, with what felt like less breakage. I can’t say I felt an significant overall thickening of my hair, but certainly my hair felt in better condition. I didn’t cut my hair at any time during the trial, but my hair grew quite a considerable amount, and looks to be in good condition. ie: doesn’t look like it is unruly or needs a trim. During the last month, I found friends and family were commenting on how long my hair was getting and how good it was looking. During the 3 months, my hair was in the humid, salt air during my daily walks. Which would usually affect my hair condition. I can fully recommend these Hairology capsules by Vida Glow to anyone who wants to improve hair health, and growth, and reduce hair loss and thinning. “I have quite thin lifeless hair, I have been using these capsules for 3 months which is the recommended time period to see results. In terms of the appearance of my hair, I haven't seen any changes. My hair is still thin within the hair at the top and it hasn't helped with keeping it voluminous as my normal hair products do. The change I have seen is a reduction in hair shedding. Every time I comb or brush my hair I'm not noticing lots of hair shedding which is great! I am going to continue to take these as I hope over time with less hair shedding it will help to keep my hair thicker and fuller.”

“Over the years of blogging, I’ve tried a lot of products, but ingestible beauty is one category I have to be careful with due to my various health conditions and medications. Even though I try to eat a wide range of foods, I don’t always get the nutrients I need, so I sometimes opt for additional supplementation, which usually means I’m drinking a chocolate flavoured nutritional formula rather than taking vitamins in pill form, but for 3 months, I gave up the chocolate milk because I was chosen to trial the Vida Glow Hairology capsules! I have an almost pathological need to be brutally honest, but I also have a passion to give my thoughts in a constructive manner because of my backgrounds in beauty therapy and science, but before I can give my thoughts on the product, I have to be clear with what I was working with. My hair is naturally wavy, a shade of cool dark brown, and made up of fine strands with a medium density. Of course, I won’t stand for having naturally dark hair, so I have been bleaching it at home for 15 odd years and dyeing it every colour of the rainbow. I have been pink for the past couple of years. To prevent further damage from my own hands, I decided to do the smart thing and only have my hair lightened professionally. I went 5 months without a service during the big lockdown of 2021, so I had a lot of regrowth. During this time, I experimented a bit with colour, but I ended up with purple-stained ends that needed to be bleached out. I loaded up a bleach bath with a plex additive, but the damage was already done. I was accepted onto the Hairology trial a few weeks before I was able to get a post-lockdown hair appointment. The longest parts of my hair were well past my shoulders, but I had a load of breakage at the crown and nape of my neck. I opted for the plex additive in my service because of this, but it didn’t do much. I had already been taking the capsules for 3 weeks when I chopped about 3cm off the ends and had the unintentional layers cleaned up. During the following two months, the damaged ends kept breaking (completely normal, the hair shaft is dead anyway), but there was one thing I noticed while I was on the trial; my regrowth was showing up so much faster than usual. At 8 weeks post-service, I had what normally would have been around 12 weeks worth of regrowth, and that included a tonne of new baby hairs sprouting up on my scalp like seedlings in a garden. I even had a few coarser & dark curly hairs come through in a few spots. After taking a capsule every day after lunch, for 3 months, I’m totally sold on Hairology! I still can’t believe that my hair grew out that fast. I’m absolutely chuffed, but now it’s time for another chop to make sure all this new growth has a chance to catch up!”

“I really enjoyed taking the Hairology supplement. I found it easy to take once a day, after lunchtime (to help aid with absorption). It easily became part of my 'routine' after a week or so of reminders ;) While I don't believe my hair density has changed yet and I am still losing the same amount of hair when I brush it or take a shower (some of this is regular fallout and breakage) I think this is because I have a lot of new growth coming through (baby hairs!). I feel like my hair would benefit the most from taking Hairology for 6 months plus (it's only been 3 months for me so far). My hair is growing quicker than ever before, which is wonderful and as an added bonus, my nails are stronger and longer! I can see and feel Hairology working but patience and perseverance are key!”

“I truly believe hairology is an effective hair loss treatment. My bald spots filled out and my hair felt fuller and looked shinier. I've always had a problem with my bald spots but I didn't know how to fix it and I've never really believed in the effectiveness of hair capsules either opting to go for healthy foods and hair masks. However, using these capsules and seeing the results has completely changed my mind. I'm just really glad I finally have a solution to my thin hair problems!”
