Dear Paul, Once again I would like to thank you for choosing our Beachfront villa Poseidon for your stay with your family. However, I must admit, my team and I are very sad to receive your negative feedback and rating of our beachfront villa. We work hard to deliver an exceptional villa experience for our guests, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. As you stated out and what you already explained when you made the booking it was very important for you to have the heated pool so your grandson can enjoy the water, even in the middle of October. We would never offer you the villa with the pool without heating, especially as we have more than 200 villas in our offer and we can easily find the villa that matches our guest individual preferences. Beachfront Villa Poseidon was a perfect match for you as the advanced heating system of the outside pool works very well, and it can warm up the water to the pleasant temperature despite the outside temperature. What I confirmed in a previous communication, the heating was turned on constantly a week before your arrival so that the water stays warm all the time. Unfortunately, there was an electricity breakdown on the day of your arrival and more than half of the water poured out of the pool. At the check-in, we explained the situation and explained that the pool will be filled in with the water during the rest of the day and that the heating is on the maximum. You were very understanding about this unpredictable situation and we gave our best to solve it as soon as possible. In 24 hours the water was warmed up to 25 Celsius what is considered pleasant for swimming. The outside temperature on Korcula is on average 17 Celsius in October and during the night the temperature goes down to 8-10 degrees. The temperature of the water was on average 25 Celsius during the whole week. We appreciate you mentioning that the villa was very nice. While I wish you had a better villa experience, it is the feedback we learn from and I wish if we had only succeded to establish better two-way communication during your stay. I thank you for your positive and negative comments, and we will definitely consider them to improve our service level. “This villa is a bit remoted, so it offers its guests a holiday in a quiet environment. It is ideal for a family vacation. There is a large relaxation terrace by the pool and we spent most of our time there. On the west side, there is a terrace with a barbecue and outdoor dining with a sea view. The house itself is well equipped and very clean. I wish to recommend it to people looking for a luxury stress-free vacation.”

“Endless view! Although I cannot single out a single detail that we were not happy with because everything was perfect, this view you do not forget. The house is modernly furnished and very clean and it offers everything for a relaxing holiday. It is located in a quiet location and off the main road, so you need a car to go to town for groceries (only 5 minutes). Until now, we have not had such a relaxing holiday because we spent almost all our time on one of the terraces or by the pool. High recommendation!”

“Beautiful villa for a relaxed holiday. Situated by the sea, but rocks are not for small children. That's why there is this beautiful pool here. The magnificent view on the open sea and the high mountains on the land are never boring. Also worth mentioning are the spacious terraces around the house with garden furniture and sun loungers. Separate apartment on the ground floor is especially practical for the nanny. The whole house is well equipped for a luxurious family vacation.”
