“WARNING: I feel I was misled by the information provided about the villa (also called Villa Ilija). Pictures of the villa show the patio outside the kitchen door (the only exit on the ground floor) which goes right to the sea wall just a few feet above the sea. There’s a nice table there, a great place to eat breakfast or supper. Except, you might assume this is part of the villa’s private space, but it’s not. When I complained I was told by Croatian law there are no private beaches in Croatia. The public had a right to share our patio, we were told. So we had a steady stream of people joining us the patio which meant we didn’t feel safe leaving the kitchen door open when we wanted to go to the swimming pool or jacuzzi in the higher garden. I believe this information should have provided upfront. Also, I could not use the kitchen due to the low ceiling. I am six foot and if I stood at the sink, or hob or the worktop I would be hitting my head on the sloping ceiling. I could not use the kitchen in any normal manner. Before booking this villa I emailed them to say I was a keen cook and wanted to know if the kitchen was suitable for proper cooking with adequate facilities. They subsequently assured me it was a great kitchen. I believe this was another significant failing, Although the agents disagreed with me on both counts. In most other respects this was a lovely villa in an amazing location. My family and I booked the villa for two weeks in September 2022.”

“Fabulous location right on the water with a pool, games, and an outdoor kitchen. No car is needed. A typical day: early morning coffee sitting in the swing overlooking the harbor, followed by snorkelling off the dock. Pool volleyball in the afternoon. BBQ in the grill/outdoor kitchen or dinner in Korcula. We used the electric scooters to grocery shop which was fun in itself! We stayed with our 3 adult children and their partners. Everyone loved it.”

“The villa was very clean and spacious. We loved the kayaks. We liked sunbathing next to the sea. The location was amazing! Just a short walk to town. The bathrooms were lovely and new.”

“Absolutely amazing villa and location! Only 10-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in the center of town of Korcula. We did not use our cars at all. Villa is modernly furnished and beds are very comfortable! Outdoor area is well thought out and very spacey. Sea is just outside of a villa and if you like kayaking there are kayaks at the villa you can use. We really had best time ever at this place and we are definitely coming back!”

“Endlose Aussicht! Dass man nicht vergessen kann. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bietet alles für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Alles, was sie brauchen können sie zu Fuß machen. Bis jetzt hatten wir keinen so erholsamen Urlaub, weil wir fast unsere ganze Zeit auf der Terrasse, den Garten oder am Pool verbracht haben. Hohe Empfehlung!”

“Thanks’ to agency we booked through we discovered a small piece of paradise! This villa is absolutely great! Large open area for everyone to enjoy, sea is right in front of the house! City of Korcula is 5 minutes’ walk from the villa so you do not need a car for anything. Waking up and seeing sea and mountains so close together was divine! We never wanted to leave!”

“Die Villa ist etwas abgelegen, aber deswegen hatte ich sehr viel Spaß mit meiner Familie. Es ist ideal für einen Familienurlaub. Es gibt eine große Entspannungsterrasse am Pool und sogar ein garten also, wenn sie Kinder haben ist es perfekt. Der Meerblick ist grandios und gleich vor dem Haus ist der Strand. Besser kann es nicht sein!”
