“We very much enjoyed our stay here, however to call it a "Beachfront Villa" is not exactly accurate. It's more of a "Seaside compound with spectacular views" as the (gorgeous) stone waterfront is a actually short walk down a flight of steps past other "villas" and it is not a "villa" so much as a luxury living area (which truly is fabulous as the photos show) with a series of nearby rooms (which are fine but small and nowhere near the same level of luxury as the shared space shown in the photos). Also calling it a villa gives the impression that it will have, for example, a laundry room (it doesn't) and that is more isolated than it is. In reality, it is part of a larger mixed-use resort that also rents out parking spaces to campers (one of which was parked directly next to our "villa" for the first half of our stay which was bizarre) and glamping rooms and there is a restaurant whose terrace (as well as the neighbouring "villa") directly overlooks your outdoor space, so there isn't the level of privacy we expected based on the listing. On the plus side, the restaurant is top-notch, fantastic pizza, probably the best whole grilled fish of our entire trip, definitely the best food we had on the island of Murter and very reasonably priced. On the negative side, because the arrangement of these "villas" is more like a party compound than a family villa, they are well known to the German 20-something party set, so for days we were lambasted by full-volume techno music for hours. on. end. When we complained, VIP Holiday Booker was incredibly fast and responsive however the on-property response was mixed--one day the person on duty would get them to turn the music to a reasonable volume, the next day the person on duty would say, "oh there was no music when I went" (because they had to stop it to talk to you when you turned up). Bottom line: If you're a party group, go rent it, rock on... if not, just know that you might be living someone else's party. Oh and one last thing... if you do stay here, yes it really is down that sketchy looking gravel road next to the Tommy market, your GPS hasn't led you astray.”

“Murter is a really beautiful island and we had an amazing time. The Villa New Horizons was a dream come true. We spent the year before in a bungalow in this resort and decided to visit again with our friends this year. Everybody loved it very much!”

“Die Villa war sehr sauber, genügend Platz für alle. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und man hat auch seine Privatsphäre. Es sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern und wir würden sofort wieder hinfahren. In nur 2 Autominuten ist der nächste Supermarkt falls man spontan etwas benötigt. Essen kann man auch direkt in dieser Anlage oder man geht zum Restaurant am Strand.”
