“Die Villa befindet sich in einer noch unfertigen Außenanlage. Palmen sind von ihrem Dasein bedroht; 2 haben es schon hinter sich. Weder ein Handlauf noch eine funktionierende Beleuchtung der steilen Außentreppe. Keine Abgrenzung zum Pool- für Kleinkinder ungeeignet! Die Grotte vor dem Eingang verfügt über ein heraushängendes Kabel, wo ein Lichtschalter schwingt. Das beheizbare Pool war nicht beheizt, wann dann , wenn nicht in der kalten Jahreszeit!!!! Kein Toaster, Pürierstab oder Mixer vorhanden. Was bleibt von unserem 14 tägigen „Winter-Märchen“? Haus mit schönem Ausblick sauber und Tolle Räumlichkeiten und eine wunderbare und liebenswerte Empfangsdame: Maja.”

We also need to say we feel sad to see that you rated your stay at the villa only three points out of five. Nevertheless, we hope you had a pleasant stay with your family and friends, and your pet. We feel this is a failure to communicate better with you before and during your stay as we are sure most of the details you mentioned in your review could have been resolved in time. We would also be happier if your review of the villa was not partially the result of a misunderstanding about the pet policy. For future reference, we feel obliged to provide a more detailed explanation. We are sorry to hear you did not like the vegetation around the villa, but due to the wintertime, the plants are not lush and exuberant as they would be if it was spring or summer season. The pool has no fence and never had, which is visible from the photographs and description of the villa. Most of the holiday villas in Croatia have pools and there are rare ones with a fence around the pool. The reason is that the fence gives a false sense of security, and this can be very dangerous if children are left unattended. Adults are obliged to always keep children under supervision, especially by the pool, which is stated in the house rules. The pool heating does not work in December and January due to very low outside temperatures. Even when it is turned on to the maximum temperature, the water cannot be heated enough to be comfortable for swimming because the pool is open and too big. The pool heating is fully functional. The water is pleasant for swimming in the season from April to October. The kitchen is fully equipped to standards, and we are sorry that you never give us any feedback that you need the toaster, hand blender, blender, or any other kitchen appliance during your stay. If we had any feedback from you during your stay, we would surely organize ourselves and give our best to provide the requested appliances if possible in order to make your stay more comfortable. This feedback is valuable to us, no matter which moment it arrived, and we are considering adding some of the mentioned small household appliances in the future. Each of our guests (reservation holder) is assigned a personal concierge agent from our team, who is always available via email, phone, messenger apps, and ready to answer any questions before the booking and provides support during the stay. “We were extremely happy with Villa Adria and would recommend it. It is in a great location. It is built into the hillside above a main road, so there is some background noise when outside but it is not a problem once inside and the windows are closed. That said, the view is amazing and it provides a wonderful backdrop day or night. The waterfront is a 5 minute walk downhill and there are several lovely restaurants and bars within easy reach but you can also walk into Trogir town within 30 minutes where there are lots to choose from. The villa was sparklingly clean when we arrived. The interior, the furnishings and decorations are all of a very high quality, including the outside furnishings. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen of a good quality. There is a beautiful quality kitchen, equipped with equally exceptionally high quality crockery,cutlery and cookware, however a frustration was that there was not enough of it in some cases for 8 guests. There were only 3 mugs and 5 water glasses for instance. I accept that that is probably the result of breakages throughout the season, however there should be a check in place to replace items between lets. Also a toaster and maybe a coffee press would be much appreciated. Our main frustration, and to be honest puzzle, considering the standard of the rest of the offering, was that there were no cleaning products (except for a few dish washer and laundry pods and 1 kitchen sponge) provided. As responsible guests, we were anxious to keep the villa clean throughout our stay and would have appreciated some general, kitchen and bathroom cleaning sprays and a few washing up cloths to allow us to do so. It is counter productive in our opinion to fail to supply these items.”

“Fantastic Villa with private pool and great views with almost everything you could think that you would need within and well situated with either a 5min taxi into Trogir (Taxi Antiga were the best) or a 25min stroll along the waters edge. Shame about the noisy road it's situated on, but recommended nevertheless.”
