“Do not buy this product, it contains vitamin b6 significantly higher than the recommended daily dose, B6 is a stimulant , so after taking the melatonin I initially fell asleep due to the instant release component but then woke 3 hours later and my heart rate was elevated for the rest of the night like I was doing the 100 metre sprint and I didn’t get any sleep. This would be a fabulous product if the b6 was removed.”
“I have mixed experience with the Natrol melatonin. I find that the time release one (I've tried 1mg, 5mg) they do force my body to go to sleep, but the mind was still busy. I used to take the Bioglan brand until they changed the ingredient which now makes me dizzy (but not quite the spray one, I only tried recently). However, Natrol melatonin seems to help my Dad's sleeping much nicely. So I think different people have different reaction to this. He seems to need a stronger dose, so I will be getting more of the 5mg for him.”
