Mark, you are right. The application brush is similar to mascara. We designed the brush with longer bristles and the container with tighter reducer. This allow fast and efficient application avoiding streaking the beard with too much color as you would get with a regular brush. However, the formula is a whole different game from mascara. It does not bleed, transfer or feel chalky and sticky as mascaras do.
