“I've tried a few different products,...and was left feeling like it looked "too fake". I would end up wiping most of it off to "blend it in". This is perfect for what I need. I too have used it and had it fade a little onto my Covid mask interior. I've started shaking it for like 30 seconds or so,....a good shake,..and I'm seeing better results. I also do it before getting dressed and by the time I'm ready to dress,...It's better. I've used it before and had some "light" color come off on a white towel,...but nothing too bad,..and it has always washed out. I enjoy this product. I'm a long time customer for sure. Thanks Guys.”
“After developing an allergy to the permanent hair color I had been using for years I was forced to stop coloring my beard. I had tried other temporary color products but have been disappointed with the results. I saw an ad for VOLT and decided to give it a try. From the time I opened the package and saw the stylishly designed product, I knew this was going to be a different experience and I was not disappointed. Not only does the applicator and formula allow you to control the intensity and degree of coverage but it does not rub off like other gray covers.”
“Applies very easy and evenly. My chosen color matched perfectly. However, does not dry "quickly" as advertised. I applied it very lightly. After one hour, it would still wipe off. With a full dark beard, I certainly can't wear a light collared shirt with this product. I like how it applies. But it takes way too long to dry. I'll try it again with a white collared shirt and post after I wear it for a couple of hours around the house. After the easy application, I was hoping for something with more staying power. But very disappointed, especially for the price.”
Hi Jimmy. We appreciate the comments. This definitively is a sign of Volt not being shaken enough prior to the application. Volt is alcohol based and thus it actually dries almost instantly as opposed to water or silicone based products. However, if the vial isn't shaken properly you may be applying only the pigments, resins and oils that separated from the alcohol. Give it a good shake and let us know if you see any difference. Thank you!
Hi Jeffrey, thanks for the valuable feedback. Volt is a touch up beard color so some fading will occur over time. The good thing is that you can touch it up any time and it only takes seconds. I personally like the look when it starts fading because it gives my beard more natural appearance. I would recommend giving your beard a good wash and making sure it is dry before applying Volt. Also shaking the product helps so the formula is dispersed evenly and sticks to the hair with more grip.
