“Goes on very quickly and easily, and dries almost immediately. It does change the texture of your beard, and you can tell by feel that it is there , but it is not uncomfortable. It is true that it is more or less waterproof to cool running water, or to a smooth wet cloth. However, if you rub it with a dry towel, it will come off a little on the towel. Over the course of the day, you will want to touch it up a little as the grey will begin to show through. And definitely will want to reapply the following morning. So far, it is fun to use and the color looks absolutely natural. Much of my beard is pure white and I tried the colors MUD and GREY BROWN.”
Great feedback Thomas! Yes, Volt adds a bit of texture to your beard because it adheres to the outside walls of your hair as opposed to dyes that satin your hair (and everything else). It is designed to stay put under water and sweat but rubbing it with soap will remove it. This way you are not stuck with the color and can get rid of it or reapply it as needed. I recommend washing it out at night and replaying it in the morning. It only takes seconds just like brushing your teeth. If you want to keep it overnight, it is ok too but you may need to do a small touch up in the morning unless you are shooting for that salt and pepper look.
