“I got my Volumio Primo today and I am over the moon with it! Stunning little device. Sound is way better then with my Raspberry Pi with Hifiberry Dac+, even with the power supply that came with the device. Rich and full tones. At this price point it is an absolute bargain imo. Besides to sound it is very snappy and I like looks of the device, minimalistic and professional. Great device and fantastic support by Michelangelo and Stefania as well!”

“I’m extremely satisfied with it, no need to speak about great sound quality (everybody will speak about it) but there’s another important point to speak about... real easy and plug & play out of the box system. The sound is very clean and detailed. A lot of separation between the different instruments. The voices are warm and natural. In summary, a very realistic sound. I am enjoying it very much. The installation and setup was straightforward. I just leaved the Primo loading all the software for the first use a little bit more time than specified in the instructions. It took at least 15 minutes to be ready. This little device is amazing. I have it installed in a very good system with an Hypex Ncore NC122MP as ampli and KEF ls50 loudspeakers and it makes superb music.”

“The satisfaction of owning a piece of hardware that performs at this level and offers such a pleasant user experience is only enhanced once you remember what you actually paid for it! A totally different league than the DIY stuff, yet not far away from the big boys. I use it daily and it just gets better from audio and software points of view. Enough said.”

“I recently purchased the Volumio Primo for my office system. I have been looking for a reasonably priced, good quality steaming solution that can handle a large library (10,000+ albums - 100,000+ tracks). So far it is working well for me. I did have an issue with artwork displaying properly, but some people on the forums helped me get it sorted quickly and easily. I'm now thinking about purchasing another one for my mail system.”

“Now owning the volumio primo for more than 6 month, I still am in an enthustiastic mood using that tiny little, but smart box on top of my analogue amplifier. I read that the quality with WLAN may not be so good - cannot follow that critics; combination with NAD amplifyer and LINN boxes are is amazing. Now loading all of my CDs to a NAS , the browser is well organized and user friendly. Have had an optimizitaion request and received the solution within view hours directly from Michelangelo. Thanks to Italy, thanks to Firence, the headquarter of the company and please take care and stay healthy in these days. Edmund”

“I am using the Primo DAC straight into my Linn Kinos Pre-amp via the analogue output. It is sounding quite splendid like this! I may connect up direct to my Power Amp (Lejonklou Tundra) and try that out, given the hardware volume control on the Primo. I will let you know how that sounds. I need to spend more time with the Primo, but I can already say that it is pretty special for its price.”

“I have been playing music for a couple of weeks with the Primo. And wow, blown away by the quality of sound. Most of my music are flac files stored on a ssd. The primo is both a server and a streamer, perfect for my needs. Direct playback to my amplifier through the RCA output (very good!) and streaming to other devices via UPnP. At this price point a no brainer, excellent product!”
