POWERED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Power supply is separated for each section, with one dedicated to the internal clock that has its own stabilizer.
Before powering the circuits, a filtering section has been provided, based on a chain of inductors and electrolytic capacitors with ad-hoc developed cells. All integral parts of RIVO have, as a result, high performance and stability on their own, which together creates a completely noise-reducing and reliable device.

ENGINEERING MADE SIMPLE
Simplicity on the architecture of RIVO, by building a digital signal path as clean as possible. Filtering and isolation have been meticulously designed by employing multiple 1:1 OFC copper grain-oriented transformers, which guarantee the galvanic isolation of the digital outputs (SPDIF and AES/EBU).
This means the digital signal path will arrive in your DAC without any filtering, any changes. You are certain your music will be the clearest and most natural.

“Ordered the Rivo and a couple of days later it arrived in a high quality box, couple of minutes later plugged in my M2Tech Young Dac, Set up and shortly after I'm flowing with the musicality and the detailed and transparent Audio Performance Rivo is displaying. Guys you got it right!”

“I have had a few streamers through here... I went with the Rivo as it was a simple bridge unit, no DAC or other funny stuff, a stand alone streamer, with one purpose, to stream music. I was hesitant about purchasing the Rivo, due to the Volumio software which has given me fits in past years. Well, that appears to be sorted out, though upgrades are far and few between. But, this is a hardware review, and I have to say I am impressed. I would suggest watching the Hans Beekhuyzen video on YouTube to get a good feel for the Rivo. I prefer the AES output, the USB tends to be a bit bright and grainy on my system. I am using the Nuetrik AES to Coaxial adapter that can be found in the Hans/Rivo video if you do not have an AES input on your DAC. The power supply, you need a quality power supply, I am using the Farad Super3 LPS, and it delivers. What really kicked the Rivo over the edge, was the addition of the Roon Nucleus One, that took the Rivo from very good to great! Yes, I spent a lot to get the Rivo to this point, but I felt it a better gamble then spending the same amount for a higher end streamer with all of the stuff I do not want or require. So, in the end, I think this was a good purchase. My advice, if you have the money for future upgrades, like a power supply, the Rivo is a good streamer. Add Roon and that power supply, and I think the Rivo will compete with much more expensive units. I am happy. ;-)”

“I really like the build quality, looks, and sound of the Rivo. When I ordered the Rivo, I was under the impression that there was a plugin for Plexamp. The 2 items that attracted me to the Rivo were the HDMI out and Plexamp. The HDMI out is fantastic. The Volumio app is good but I prefer Plaxamp. Add Plexamp and my review goes up to 5 stars.”

“Good online player. The device's USB output stopped working. I kept the device completely disconnected power one night and in the morning I turn the device on. The USB output has been fixed. Weird malfunction. The player is slowly indexing the external hard drive. Accurate about music metadata. It is not enough that the songs are in the same folder. Otherwise worked perfectly. Sound quality is excellent when using an external linear power supply.”

“Buongiorno, Dopo la call avuta con il Vostro gentilissimo Davide va tutto bene. Con ll cellulare ho avuto problemi a completare l'editazione di Premium, cosa che non è avvenuta nel ripetere insieme a Davide, i medesimi passaggi sullo schermo del mio PC. Per il resto bisogna solo prenderci un poco l'abitudine. Il tasto "Preferiti" non funziona, in compenso funziona la "Playlist" In sostanza mi ritengo molto soddisfatto”

Gentile Francesco, tutti i servizi accessori inclusi in Volumio richiedono abbonamenti dedicati Non è specificato alcunchè perchè di default il servizio, che esso sia Qobuz o Tidal o qualsiasi altro, necessita di un abbonamento personale. Noi forniamo comunque l'accesso ad un periodo di prova per Qobuz che le permette di valutare il servizio. Per ogni altro eventuale problema tecnico la rimando al servizio di supporto dedicato : Technical support - Volumio Help Center Cordialmente VOLUMIO CUSTOMER SERVICE

“Bonjour Après extinction par le bouton ON/OFF ou par le bouton en façade (couleur rouge), L'application sour Android montre que le RIVO (device) est recherché systématiquement, quelques fois durant plusieurs minutes. Un enregistrement définitif du RIVO (un seul Rivo chez moi), pour une connexion immédiate au Rivo, serait une amélioration. Sinon, je suis très content de cet appareil. UN MAUVAIS POINT : quelques jours après mon achat, je découvre qu'une promotion m'aurait fait économiser plus de 100€. Je suis un peu mécontent. Cordialement Eric VIOIX”
