“A great, stiff, power bar. This bar was not as aggressively knurled as I expected. One collar didn't spin as freely as the other. Needs some 3 in 1 oil every 14 days or so for rust in the knurl. Of several rogue bars I've owned, and countless commercial gym bars, the Vulcan Power Bar is by far my favorite.”

“Love the matte chromed, flat grooves on the sleeve and black oxide; feels raw and the knurling is aggressive without tearing your hands apart. Composite bushings still spin, but much less easily than bronze. Very solid bar that just feels awesome. Much preferred over my Rogue Ohio bar.”

“The overall look and feel of the bar are very good. I was just disappointed that the end cap did not have the Vulcan Eagle on it as shown in the picture, just the word "Vulcan" so it takes away from the aesthetics.”

“I'm an aging gym rat & I'm not going to break any world records. But since the only thrill I get these days if lifting weight I thought I would reward myself with a new barbell. And the Absolute Powerlifting Bar feels like a trophy. The grip is perfect and no whip. The sleeves have rings cut into them which keeps the weight from shifting even without collars. It looks wicked cool. One thing that sold me on this bar was the passive center knurl since I like doing upright rows and drag the bar up my belly. Also if I squat shirtless it wont pull out my back hair.”

“I have had this bar for a couple of years now and I use nearly every day. It will take about anything you throw at it. Because I bought the absolute stainless bar when I bought this bar I tend to give this bar more work because the stainless is too pretty for some tasks.”

“I have been using this bar in my homegym for over a year and absolutely love it. It is stiff with aggressive knurling, perfect for the big 3 lifts. I also like that the center knurling is less aggressive and doesn't tear my shirt when I put it on my back. The black oxide finish looks sexy too.”
