“Alphas are excellent, excellent bumper plates. Had them for about 3 years now, and just bought a few more 10lb and 25 lb plates. The plates are fantastic. I have used them outside on asphault and concrete, plates are still as good and as strong as when i first bought them. You know how those cheaper, black, standard cross-fit gym plates evenutally have hte inner metal collar come loose? That's not happening. Not even close to a hint of that happeneing. One gripe is that as of 3 years ago, the colors were pretty muted (and harder to see the difference without a close, well-lit look), but on these most recent purchase (1 month ago, March '24) the colors were more vibrant and in a higher ratio to black than before.”

“Once again the order I received was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The Alpha plates are very nice and a great deal. Very quiet too. I train either very early or very late at night and live in an apartment complex so noise and “thudding” can be an issue. These help!”

“An unexpected benefit to the Alpha bumpers is the higher tolerance than what I’m accustomed to. The collars fit tighter on the bar than the bumpers i was using previously. The tighter fit makes Olympic lifts feel better. Both my clean & jerk and snatch improved by 10lbs very quickly after regularly using the Alpha bumpers. All my lifts just feel better with the Alpha bumpers than the generic bumpers I was using previously. Additionally, when I pick up the Alpha bumpers to put them on my bar or move them otherwise, they just feel different, in a quality way. Something’s are hard to explain, such as feel when lifting, but the Alphas are quality. I’m glad I bought the Alphas.”
