“I purchased a set of Alpha bumpers. Low bounce. Quieter than most other bumpers. I've seen some complaints about the rubber smell but, guess what, they are made from rubber. It goes with the territory. I actually like the smell and it's not too strong. Overall great addition to my garage and basement gyms.”

“The alpha bumpers and rubber change plates I've bought have just got me thirsting for more, absolutely fantastic products! Also, to those who complain about the smell, I understand, however it quickly fades and shouldn't be an issue (I literally have my workout equipment in the living room and my wife's never complained about the smell - and neither have I!)”

“All of my bumper plates are Alpha bumper plates and this is for a reason. To elaborate on how good they are, I own 4x10lbs, 2x25lbs, 4x45lbs, and 2x55lbs, and their 15lbs Rubber change plates. I just have not considered how excellent these plates are to other brands (compared to Rogue Plates, Hi-Temp, American Barbell and other less regarded brands that I have used at commercial facilities). They are solid as heck (in a rubbery way). I have bailed from an overhead snatch on a couple of occasions - using 55lbs Alphas outside, and they show absolutely no wear whatsoever. I repeat, they seem impervious to drops and show no sign of wear. They bounce very little when they hit the ground, and they are so quiet it's eerie. They are everything they are advertised to be. I am on deck to order a pair of 15lbs for technique practice. I have not gone elsewhere with my money. Buy with confidence.”

“I opted for the 160lbs Alpha Bumper Plates. Yes, it did take a couple of weeks (as stated on the site). But once you do receive it, you will not be disappointed. I left mine in the garage for a couple of days to let the smell air out. The plates fit perfectly when on the bar, and they look great as well. Looking to add more of the Alpha bumper plates to my home gym. Quite pleased with my purchase.”
