“I've been looking for three days now trying to figure out why this bar was on clearance. I've come to the decision that this bar is perfectly fine, that it was likely only pre-used in a competition. I may never know for sure, but saving over $250 for that alone is absolute value to me and my gym. The bar itself is beautiful. Perfect grip for non-competition/high repitition work. The bearings spin beautifully. This bar has some whip, helping with softer landings and liftoffs for Olympic lifts and deadlifts. The fact that these bars come with the same no bend/break warranty is astounding. You won't find other brands that keep warranty with their clearance barbells. Package came shipped in heavy duty cardboard tube with metal in caps. My pack was broken about a third of the way through and heavily re-taped. Bar came out just fine. Buy Vulcan and be happy.”
