Had to purchase my own bolts as the ones it came with didn't work right. Otherwise it's a solid, no-frills rack that gets the job done.

This thing is a tank. I wanted a rack I did not have to bolt into the ground and this fits my needs perfectly. I am about 5'10'' 175lbs and am able to do kipping pull ups/TTB without movement. It is also tall enough for me to do a standing barbell press inside the rack.

Have had the rack for two weeks. It arrived via freight with no damage and properly packaged with all parts. Built in about 2hrs and as advertised. Very happy with purchase and recommend.

The Flat Foot Rack is an incredible piece of barbell training equipment. Construction was easy, I was able to complete by myself in a few hours, and a second person would have made it easier. The rack feels very solid and doesn’t budge when doing pull-ups or racking heavy weights. I purchased the extended footprint version of the rack which was on sale at the time, although it may not be offered anymore. The extended footprint version has a crossmember connecting the bottom rear uprights of the rack. The standard version does not appear to have this, and the crossmember was not advertised as part of the extended footprint version at the time of purchase, but it would not have affected my decision if I had known, I only mention it for the sake of completeness. I purchased the plate storage for this rack, and am very pleased with that as well. No frills, just basic storage, but it’s nice to not have your plates on the floor. One plate storage bar has enough room to hold half of a 260 lb. set of Alpha bumpers (one each of 45, 35, 25, 15, & 10 lb. plates) plus V-Lock 5 and 2.5 pound change plates. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and am happy that I was able to find a quality rack that doesn’t need to be bolted to the floor. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a similar product.

Very good quality, easy to assymble, and great price! Bar, Bumpers, and Bench are excellent...! Rack was a breeze to get up with a second person. It was great all the bolts and nuts required the same size socket or wrench.

The flat foot power rack is a fine piece of equipment. Assembly is pretty simple even though the directions are kind of lacking, they're a design drawing and parts list. But with a little common sense the rack can be assembled single handed, although a helper would be nice addition. The finish seems pretty stout after banging and sliding some of the pieces together, the powder coat seems tough almost like a bed liner texture. The safety bars are a little hookie being a 7/8 through bar with a 1in od sleeve they slide into between the uprights. It would have been better to just have 1in holes. J-Hooks seem decent, and no complaints about them. Rack is surprisingly stable for not being bolted down. My floor was a little uneven, but a piece of cardboard shimmed it up nicely for a temporary fix untill I can get a stable mat under it. The only downside is the bottom isn't tied in together at all. A piece of flat stock would be good addition at the back of the rack to ensure the bottom doesn't spread apart.

Hi John, Thanks for your feed back. At this price point it's as good as it will get honestly. Happy lifting!

What a deal! I received this rack in the mail yesterday. I built it right away. And used it to lift this morning. It took about an hour to put together. It's super solid. Im really amazed how stable it is while not anchored to the ground. I did a lot of research on what rack to buy and this one did not disappoint. The cost to quality will be hard to beat anywhere else. My only complaint is the lack of accessories. Really the only thing I'm looking for is a stafety strap option instead of only pins. If those came out in the future I'd buy them in a heart beat as I'm sure the quality would be just as good as the rack.
