“I bought these to supplement my bumpers as change plates but did not expect them to be as good as they are. They are not the rubber change plates that have no steel hubs but are steel plates covered with rubber and the hubs are steel. Not better or worse, just not the solid rubber type. That being said, they are very well made and look great. With proper care (as all plates should), I think they will last for a very long time. Now comes the best part... they are extremely accurate. While they are not advertised as calibrated, they are extremely accurate. Calibrated plates are guaranteed to within 10 to 15 grams. One plate is 5 grams over and the other is 6 grams over the exact weight! I have some Eleiko 2.5 lb. change plates that are more than 30 grams over (33g & 37g)... so, the Vulcan plates are much more accurate. Overall, these are very nice plates and I only wish the full set was available!”
