“While I am a powerlifter and thus don't usually need bumper plates in my home gym, my wife prefers to warm-up deadlifts well below 135lbs. So I researched bumper plates that could handle that role without flopping over, especially with additional small plates added on the outside, and settled on the Vulcan 15lbs. They have been better than expected! Not only are they rock solid on their own, but we've added up to 25lbs of metal plates on the outside of them and they have more than lived up to the task. I can't speak to how they handle oly lifts but for our purposes they are perfect.”

“I like these. They do smell but not bad at all (I use them in my garage). Seem sturdy and they don't bounce hardly at all but do make a LOUD noise when dropped.”

“I bought them 'on sale', but still found them to be pricey. If the price were lower, I would have bought more. However, I am glad that I bought them, will be sure to get plenty of use out of them and would recommend them to others. The main thing is that these are quality made and WILL NOT harm my brand new beautiful stainless steel bars. I would also like to see some 1.25 lb. all rubber plates available.”

“This is my second pair of Black Bumper Plates from Vulcan. I also own a set of 35's. Again, I am more than pleased with the quality of the plates. Slim profile, low bounce and sturdy construction about sums it all up. I have found the plates for me and I will be adding more to my collection. The fast, free shipping is just another added bonus.”

“I purchased these plates to go along with my other set of bumpers. Awesome price and great quality. I have beat these and my other plates up for the last two months doing oly lifts and they have done well. Far exceeded my expectations. Great training plate. Buy with confidence.”
