“Awesome addition to the bumper plate set I have from Vulcan. Pricing is a bit high, however that's just my personal opinion. In comparison with other brands, their right on par. I'm actually considering purchasing two more pairs. It's much nicer to have the 5lb and 2.5lb to increase weight during workouts. the additional 5lb or 10lb increment is much better than the 20lb (2 10lb) or 30lb (2 15lb) increments.”

“These are the only change plates Ive had, besides iron. So I cant compare them to others brands. But they are rubber all the way thru as opposed to rubber coated. They fit relatively tight on the bar, although I dont believe they are a substitute for collars. So the "lock" part of the description is slightly misleading. Where they really shine is if you are OCD about your equipment like me. I couldnt stand that everytime I did a drop those iron plates were destroying by bar sleeves. The clanging was just a nasty reminder. Thats where these are worth every penny! So if you love your bar and want to reduce all the noise from dropping, these are a MUST HAVE. Plus, if you have black bumpers, they match. Buy em, theyre worth it.”

“These plates slide on the bar like butter. In the past I've used iron plates with bumpers, and I'm pleased with using these instead for smaller adjustments.”

“Very happy with these rubber change plates so far. They seem to be very durable and fit much better than the steel plates of questionable quality from the big-box stores. Worth the money and no worry of cheap steel plates nicking up my bar.”

“I purchased these after reading a review on Garage Gym Reviews. These plates are very well made & accurate. Best of all, they will not damage the finish of my bar. I would love to have a set of Alpha plates if shipping to Hawaii wasn't so expensive.”
