Personally I like the fact that these bells have the same handle size and are uniform in size. When doing movements with different weight loads in each hand, makes the movements less awkward feeling. Also, for my hand size these handles lined up great with every kind of lift. Quality product.

I read a lot of reviews, and priced out every kettlebell I could find, Vulcan had the best price and I think the best quality. Super happy with my purchase! The handle is smooth but with enough texture I don't feel it will slip out of my hand. Not for nothing but I think it's awful good looking too! Thanks Vulcan!

I purchased two sets of 16, 20, and 24kg vulcan absolute training KBs and since I own a set of the same weights in the standard Rogue cast iron I can compare the two: Finish is similar, the Vulcan's black coating came off on my hands the first few uses. Not sure if it's just excess material remaining after application but it seems like the coating is still intact. The Rogues are slightly grippier than the Vulcan, which are much smoother. The Vulcan handles are also wide for the competition style while not getting in the way with two handed exercises. I like that they are also smaller diameter than the Rogues especially as you go up in weight. The larger size of the Vulcan's seem to be more comfortable in the rack and lock out positions.

The 8KG is great for women starting with 1 handed swings or unilateral exercises.
