“First, the handle is wider than my other competition kb’s, so if two handed movements are your thing, that’s a plus. The wider handle does change my pivoting in the c&p, but I’m also moving up in weight, so that’s to be expected. Something I wasn’t expecting and maybe I missed it in the description, but the bell is powder coated - handle included. I’ve been using it for a week and I haven’t ripped my hands yet, but it is grippy compared to my kb kings smooth handles. I’m not doing super high reps, but 8 minutes of snatches was tough on my hands. Probably wouldn’t have noticed if I had started with Vulcan bells! Price point is about the same with kb kings once you figure in shipping.”

“I ordered two of each weight. They are as described. These KBs are uniform in shape and appearance. They feel natural when in use. I gave 4/5 stars because of the coating's durability. Two of my KBs came damaged. Specifically, the powdered coat was scratched off. This damage occurred during shipment. Unfortunately, Vulcan was unwilling to replace the damaged KBs due to the damage not being noted upon delivery. (The KBs were part of a 2500 lbs+ pallet...this made it difficult to note at point of delivery.) KBs tend to get roughed up from use. Yet, my damage is mostly on the handles which roughens the grip. Vulcan did suggest that I paint over the marred area with textured paint. Overall, I can't vouch for durability of the powder coat on these KBs. However, the all steel construction seems manufactured well and is of quality. I recommend this product and the price is very fair.”

Thank you for your review! The kettlebells will last a lifetime. The powder coat will always wear off on any kettebell if it is used and banged around enough. We do hope you use them and bang them around as much as possible!

“I got into kettlebells last year and have several cast iron bells. I became interested in competition bells because of the uniform size throughout the weight range. I happened to see a Vulcan review and alot of people raving about the Vulcan Absolute kettlebells so I went to order one and they were out of stock. When they got back in stock a couple weeks later I placed an order and all I can say is I wish I had known about these a year ago. The finish is amazing and some have complained about not being color coded, if that is an issue buy some paint and do it yourself, you could easily paint the indented weight "16K" etc or paint a band on the handle (or even use colored electrical tape) and that will solve your problem. I will eventually replace my other cast iron bells with these. They are extremely well balanced and unlike having to compensate with the different sized cast iron bells these will always fall into place the same way when doing cleans and snatches. Also, they are shipped in a rugged box with foam inserts so wont get damaged in shipment. Highly recommended!”

“Very happy with the quality of the KB, finish is excellent, good grip, well balanced, wide stable base for floor exercises. Works great for both single and double hand grip exercises. Shipping was quicker than I expected. Will be buying more, standardizing my set with all Vulcan Absolute Training KB”
