I looked at both the Titan and rogue and decided to go with Vulcan. Anyone looking for a squat Stand I highly suggest this one. It is much higher quality than both Titan and rogue. This thing will last for years

I've been in the gym since I deployed in 2009 so I knew exactly what I needed for my own work out. I didn't want it to take up too much space but I also knew that I wanted something to last and to be high enough to not have to bend my knees when doing pull-ups I'm (6'2). After much research I decided to go with the "Hammer Squat stand II". I am a veteran now but my profession now and since I ve been out is a welder which I've went to Job Corp for 22 months in 2005 for welding, I know quite a bit about metal. The steel is very thick and heavy duty the bolts that measures 1 3/8 which is 35 mm which you cannot find at lowe I used 2 crest wrenches. I've looked at Rogue, Rep and other various higher name brands. Vulcan strength honestly to me offers more Durability to Value. My final thoughts: The rack will outlast me I think P.s. my open box item was the Prime Adjustable Bench and honestly I would never be able to tell it was and open box with a defect which is super stable and very heavy duty.

My review would be higher if the Vulcan company provided better instructions for the assembly of the squat stand. It was a 1-page zoomed-out layout of the squat stand and you almost need a magnifying glass to make out some of the picture. I also received a different style of squat spot holder than what I have seen in other pictures, which does not allow for the barbell to lay balanced on the spot rack. When I received the product much of the boxes were torn and ripped so I had no idea if I was missing anything. The instructions lastly do not tell you what size wrenches etc. you need to put it together. I was very disappointed about not knowing this ahead of time and had to go and buy larger wrenches to put it together. Once I put it all together it is a solid structure. I have already used it for bench press and pull-ups and of course squat and it does not move.

I managed to buy the V-Hammer Squat Stand before they sold out due to the virus. I had never heard of Vulcan up until now so I didn't know what to expect compared to the bigger equipment companies. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this squat stand. It has thick metal and it is rock solid.

The Hammer II stand is a tank. It’s tough as nails and the Alpha bumpers are well worth the wait. After researching bumper plates for a while, I have no regrets with the decisions. I was expecting a dead blow from the bumpers, but they are legitimately comparable to the bounce of competition plates. I love the product, I’m sure I’ll be checking out other items from Vulcan in the near future.

Love this squat stand made of 8 gauge steel. I was able to set it up quickly. It comes with quality safety arms and j-cups for the bar so I can do pullups (strict) and chin-ups without any wobble. There is plate storage on the sides. Many squat stands do not have that. I bought the optional dip attachment and it is very sturdy. I hook it up on the inside of the stands. I can now squat safely (by myself), bench press and incline bench press while using the safety arms. I am using it with the Vulcan Alpha bumper plates that I just received this week.

Great piece of equipment, solid & sturdy. Was package really well even though Fedex destroyed the box. Non of all the pieces seems to stay in place and were not scratched. Awesome and very helpful costumer service when I called about assembly.
